Great experience! April was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. She was so friendly, attentive, and genuinely kind, and made us feel welcomed the entire time. Her energy was great, You can tell she truly cares about giving great service, and it made our experience that much better. We’d absolutely love to have her as our server again. The food and the strawberry lemonade was delicious! 10 out of 10!

We had a great meal. I tried the prime rib sandwich special and It was delicious! The meatloaf was great too. There were 6 of us and all of the meals were really good. The huckleberry lemonade was so tasty. Can’t wait to eat here again!

I can’t say enough good things about the experience I had at Daniels Summit Lodge. Every time I turned around I was met with a warm friendly smile. Are you looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature’s beauty? Make your way here. Even if you don’t stay at the cozy and inviting lodge, the meatloaf at the diner alone is worth the drive. You have never had meatloaf this amazing. This is not your grandma’s meatloaf. Really though, I’m coming back as often as I can. That meatloaf will haunt my dreams.

No matter what time of day we came, the grill always impressed us! The warm atmosphere brings you in but the people & food are what keep you there. Chef Ryan made sure we got nothing but the best and treated us with such care & hospitality. The food was to die for and I’ll be returning to try out as many dishes as possible. Also big thank you to Hunter for being such a kind server and making us feel at home (I like his name too!).

Such a cozy little restaurant with such ma and pa vibes. My friends and I went there three times during our stay (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) and our waitresses and waiters were the nicest people every time. We are all very much big foodies and can confidently say that every single meal we had was just so damn good. I just so happened to order the specials every time and they killed it literally every single time. Very fresh. Great ingredients. Would stay at this lodge just for their food!

Let me tell you America, this food… it’s absolutely amazing! I mean, fantastic,I know food! . A lot of people say I’m a very, very hard person to please. The hardest. It’s true. But this? This was some of the best all-around food I’ve had in a long, a long time. Nobody else is doing it like this.
The rib-eye? Perfectly cooked. Not just good—perfect. The homemade country fried steak… unbelievable. A great, great meal people.
And let me talk about the mashed potatoes. Hands down, the best mashed potatoes. The best I’ve ever had! You have to see it and taste it to believe it.
And you know what you have to get? You have to get the fried Twinkie. It’s amazing! It really is.
Everything was so fresh. So, so fresh. And you can tell the chefs… they enjoy what they do. They have passion. And that, my friends, that is the key to great food. A tremendous job. A perfect 10! Nobody does it better.

Loved the new menu! We ordered the crispy chicken salad and ribeye for dinner both were very delicious. Live music was playing at a very comfortable noise level, not too loud and the artist had a great voice. We finished with the apple crisp, very yummy. Our 2 and 4 year old also enjoyed looking at all the bears and art on the walls.
