Friendly staff. Very clean dining room and sauce/drink areas. Ordering is via tablet kiosks at the front so there’s no rush and you can look at the menu, which is pretty extensive, without holding up the line.
Got an Aloha plate called the Hawaiian BBQ Mix that comes with white rice, mac salad, steamed vegetables (cabbage, carrots and broccoli), Hawaiian BBQ chicken, BBQ beef and Kalbi short ribs. See pic. Teriyaki sauce is good. Didn’t try the katsu sauce but maybe next time.
Generous portions. Fun, island-themed interior. Kids and lunch specials menus as well. Plenty of parking as it’s located in a strip mall. Disabled parking nearby.
Both tender and well seasoned
Mac is creamy and well balanced
Rice is fine, but clumps together (not in a sticky rice way, just not well cooked) and a bit dry
Ask for extra broccoli (only $1 more)
Mini meal is plenty of food
Musubi is fine
It was delicious It’s a large portion. I’m not a fan of Macaroni salad, but I’ve always been a fan of Hawaiian Macaroni salad. The entire meal is made while you wait. The heat of the chicken was not spicy to where you can’t eat it. It’s a tasty spice.
Nick helped many other customers while I waited. I noticed a lot of orders are to go. It was busy while I ate but Nick kept a cool attitude and treated everyone with respect.
Abraham was cooking and preparing orders as fast as they came in. I had asked if he could make mine spicer and he agreed. He never got behind on his orders. All orders kept getting picked up as customers walked in. There wasn’t a long wait. In case you order to go.
Last thing are the two sauces they offer for the meal, Teriyaki and Katsu. Try both of them because it’s not your regular salty Teriyaki and the Katsu is a good choice for the meal.
I think anyone who eats here will leave with a great experience
