Bountiful food quantity and good quality/freshness to other restaurants in the same price range. Example combo white fish (2 breaded pieces) plus chicken (5 grilled pieces) and 2 rice scoops, macaroni, plus cabbage. Fresh to order. Comparable to Hawaiian food quality and quantity found in larger Dallas market. Good find for Indy!

First time at this place and will be going back.

Friendly staff. Very clean dining room and sauce/drink areas. Ordering is via tablet kiosks at the front so there’s no rush and you can look at the menu, which is pretty extensive, without holding up the line.

Got an Aloha plate called the Hawaiian BBQ Mix that comes with white rice, mac salad, steamed vegetables (cabbage, carrots and broccoli), Hawaiian BBQ chicken, BBQ beef and Kalbi short ribs. See pic. Teriyaki sauce is good. Didn’t try the katsu sauce but maybe next time.

Generous portions. Fun, island-themed interior. Kids and lunch specials menus as well. Plenty of parking as it’s located in a strip mall. Disabled parking nearby.

Super friendly, chill vibes and super clean restaurant l. The food was so tasty! Katsu, BBQ mix combo, the Korean short rib and the spam matsuri were all so good. Will be putting this into my rotation. P.s. my wife said I had to mention the awesome macaroni salad.

We had this to go, I was pleased with the taste of everything, we were going to eat in but there was a strange smell but no big deal. They have kiosks where you can place your order or if you prefer the old school method you can do that also.

Chicken teriyaki and katsu
Both tender and well seasoned
Mac is creamy and well balanced
Rice is fine, but clumps together (not in a sticky rice way, just not well cooked) and a bit dry
Ask for extra broccoli (only $1 more)
Mini meal is plenty of food
Musubi is fine

Food was okay. The BBQ beef is authentic and tender with a hint of ginger. The chicken katsu breading was thick. The katsu sauce was a little too sweet and needed that vinegar component. The teriyaki sauce is good. The teriyaki chicken was moist and great when dipped in the teriyaki sauce.

I came in on a recommendation. I am glad I did. Nick and Abraham were working. Nick runs the front and he took time to answer all my questions. I had asked about the different combos and level of spice. After helping me out I ordered the Island Fire Chicken

It was delicious It’s a large portion. I’m not a fan of Macaroni salad, but I’ve always been a fan of Hawaiian Macaroni salad. The entire meal is made while you wait. The heat of the chicken was not spicy to where you can’t eat it. It’s a tasty spice.

Nick helped many other customers while I waited. I noticed a lot of orders are to go. It was busy while I ate but Nick kept a cool attitude and treated everyone with respect.

Abraham was cooking and preparing orders as fast as they came in. I had asked if he could make mine spicer and he agreed. He never got behind on his orders. All orders kept getting picked up as customers walked in. There wasn’t a long wait. In case you order to go.

Last thing are the two sauces they offer for the meal, Teriyaki and Katsu. Try both of them because it’s not your regular salty Teriyaki and the Katsu is a good choice for the meal.

I think anyone who eats here will leave with a great experience

I grew up in Hawaii and the food is what I missed most. This food tastes just like home! The chicken katsu (and katsu sauce) are fried to perfection. The chicken BBQ and beef BBQ are seasoned and cooked perfectly so it’s not dry. The Mac salad and rice is exactly what this food is served with at the mom and pop restaurants in Hawaii. The kalbi short ribs are delicious too. I can’t wait to eat here again!

It was ok. The Kalua pork wasn’t what I remember eating & being stationed in Hawaii. I personally would order it again. The BBQ plate was burnt in my taste and very dry. The juice drink was bomb! Now that I’ll look for and by some for home
