Definitely going to come back!
Food was prompt and served hot! One of the best aspects was portion size! The Veal Parm was not only beyond expectations for flavor, but also enough to take home for TWO more meals!
Would recommend to time your meal to expect a possible wait. No reservations, first come first serve. Fortunately plenty of seating options so moves smoothly. The pizza variety is a must try, but hands down favorite is the Steak black and blue.

Colarusso’s Coal Fired Pizza on Main Street in Dickson City is the kind of place that reminds you why simple food done right is unbeatable. The coal-fired oven gives the pizza that perfect balance of a crisp, slightly charred crust with a soft, chewy inside. The sauce is flavorful without overpowering the pie, the cheese is perfectly melted, and every slice tastes fresh and well-crafted. You can tell they care about consistency and quality, which makes each visit just as good as the last.

I ordered the Bianco pie with ricotta cheese, and it was outstanding. The ricotta was creamy and rich, spread generously across the pie, and paired perfectly with the coal-fired crust. It was flavorful without being heavy, letting the quality of the ingredients really shine. It’s a great choice if you’re looking for something a little different from a traditional red-sauce pizza but still incredibly satisfying.

Beyond the pizza, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or sitting down with family and friends. The staff is friendly, efficient, and genuinely appreciative of their customers, which adds to the overall experience. Colarusso’s isn’t just a great pizza spot—it’s a local staple that delivers comfort, flavor, and reliability every time. If you’re anywhere near Dickson City and craving excellent coal-fired pizza, this place is absolutely worth the stop.

There are a variety of options here. There’s lots of great drinks, some delicious seasonal options available and the bar area is nice. The food is pretty good. The staff are polite. The prices are incredibly reasonable! The bar area can get quite loud and parking isn’t the most convenient, but overall it’s a nice place. The pizza is delish! Definitely worth checking out.

First time here and loved it, pizzas very distinct from the usual and excellent in every regard. The sauce, cheeses used, and toppings were all fantastic. The crust is perfect, crispy outside and just the right amount of chewy inside.
We tried the Italian wings, again different from the usual and very very good. Crispy skin and moist/tender inside. Nicely seasoned.
Good drinks, wife enjoyed a White Cosmo and I had the Italian margarita. Tajin rim on the margarita was new to me and I loved it.
Finished with a generous Tiramisu and Sambuca.
Plenty leftover to enjoy at home. We’ll gladly travel the 30 minutes to come again.

We were initially impressed with the size of the restaurant until we were seated and realized how loud everything would be for the whole meal. We area not regulars, but our waitress must have had several regulars because there were a few tables she went over to for extended conversations. The food did not ask come out together and one our of 4 people had to wait 20 additional minutes to get their meal! We wish we had known that previously because we waitress have selected another option or restaurant. Had to wait art the end for the waitress to finish yet another

Stopped in for an early dinner. Food was fantastic love the taste of the coal fired pizza, had a good crispy to it without being too well done, definitely worth trying. Got a side of meatballs, and they were so light and fluffy more like cake, also very good. Place is not a traditional pizza place, it more on the side of “fine dining” as everyone there was dressed up and eating pizza with forks and knives, all I can say about that is we didn’t fit in. We did feel rushed to leave by the young waitress.

Best coal fired pizza in PA. Mike and his staff are always accommodating. The food is top notch. I love the pizza and ith the steak on it. His coal fired wings are AMAZING. One of a kind. Their location is awesome and in the summer the patio is hopping! I just wish they had more live music, it would make happy hour even better. Their private room is great for weddings and parties. You can’t go wrong with his prices either. Mike is a great guy and a tremendous cook. Always give him our business and support.

This is one of my mother‘s favorite pizza places. We’ve dine in and take out frequently. The outdoor patio is great when the weather permits. Fantastic pizza one of the best in the area. We’ve had the Buffalo chicken pizza, pepperoni, pizza, anchovy pizza, plain pizza, and all are wonderful. The flank steak sandwich is marinated perfectly- lots of flavor and deliciousness in every bite. The salads are huge, fresh & delightful. The mac & cheese with bacon and bread crumbs is phenomenal. There certainly is something for everyone. The menu is full of excellent choices. They have a very nicely appointed private room for parties, gatherings and special occasions. It’s a very popular place. We’ve always received our dishes promptly and without delay. Great choice

Fettuccine with vodka sauce lacked any flavor. My wife’s Mac & cheese with bacon tasted good, but where’s the bacon? Got charged an extra dollar for 1/2 bacon. It comes with bacon. Garlic rolls? No garlic, just butter & sprinkled cheese on top.Drinks are expensive 6.25 each for an IPA. 7.95 for a Bellini_ Tini. I didn’t even get a full glass of my first beer because that was the end of the pumpkin. Krista M was on the spot for our waitress. My first visit was non impressive. I have been to only 1 other restaurant where a salad is not part of a dinner meal. So this is strike 2. I play ball but not that it matters. I don’t see a third try. Each their own I get it.Service is great!
