We had tacos al pastor and fajita beef. They were superb. Great presentation and a lot of meat on each taco. The green and red sauces were really good as were the chips and salsa. I saw someone order a burrito and it was huge but I don’t know how it tasted.

This is my favorite, and yes this shrimp is outstanding! The chips are warm and crunchy, salsa is more savory than the usual sweet salsa we get around here. The carnitas Verde is a regular go to for me.

First time visiting and the food was delicious! Veggie quesadillas full of perfectly cooked veggies and tortillas seemed to be from scratch. Ranchero beans were also delicious.

In from out of town for soccer ID Camp and decided to come in for lunch. The restaurant and bathrooms are clean. You seat yourself, the waitress was nice, but had to ask to get refills. The Torta Barbacoa was good and the bun was very buttery. The quesadillas with pastor was on the greacy side. We ordered the small guacamole was very small and came with a side of diced tomatoes, 2 slices of cucumber, and a few slices of radish.

Ate there today for first time. Had the street tacos. These were THE best I’ve ever eaten. So tender the carne asada. Lots of food and it was the special today at 8.99. Will definitely go back for trying other foods. Very clean and great wait staff.

If you’re in Commerce, you must try Sol Azteca! It’s on the square, at the north end, between Too Good! and Beacon Chiropractic. Park out in the center or along the north side of Main St. and walk across Washington to get the best Mexican food in town. The portions are very large and the food is always delicious. Mama and Papa make it delicious, and it’s served with a smile. (Check out the flautas—they are huge! And so delicious.)
This is a small, family-owned business who thrives on word-of-mouth. We love supporting Mama Omega!
EDITED to add: Today, we had the special, 2 tacos any way you like. They were so delicious!!!

The only Tex Mex I will eat. The quality of their food is excellent and consistent. Other places have not been even close to consistent. Or as good. I originally ordered cheese enchiladas. This is my testing Tex Mex food for my first visit.
After 3 visits, I finally ordered fajitas. These I am very picky about. My first fajitas were at a place called “Casa Daniels” in Austin and nothing has compared. That was 40 years ago. And then I found this place. Though not quite the same, it is the only place that comes close. It’s all I order now and they are highly recommended!
The salsa is thick and sticks to your chip. It has a good balance of taste and heat. I’m still working on my heat tolerance and this is chefs kiss balance.
I will not go anywhere else on town. You can read my other reviews. The only drawback is very minor. The parking. It is downtown, so parking is already not the best. Being at the end of the street makes for a bit more walking, but only a few dozen steps. It never stops me from going.

The tacos here are really good and stuffed with lots of meat. The salsa and chips and also the taco sauces are really good and pretty hot. Good presentation on the plates. The place was pretty busy when we were there and the service fine. It’s a great place to eat.

Stopped for a bite after reading the reviews. Was in town for the day and wanted to try something other than a chain restaurant. The review for the asada tacos brought me in.. i had to try them for myself. Let me just say they did not disappoint! The meat was so tasty and very tender. The chips and salsa were very good. My hubby had the fajitas, they were good but I’ve never had bad fajitas. My daughter had the avocado torta. Lots of aguacate and it was very tasty as well. Our server, Charlie was great – very hospitable.
Definitely recommend. Please stop by and support your local businesses.
(someone nearby ordered the taco salad and I was shocked by the size. HAD to take a pic)

I ordered food to go. The online prices did not match the prices in store. The barbacoa tacos were nothing but onion and grease, the tacos and enchiladas were flavorless and truly did not taste good. I had been to this restaurant before and didn’t have food service of this low quality I am truly disappointed for 2 meals $31 dollars was just not worth it.
