The server was kind and efficient. My omelet was over cooked and my potatoes were under cooked. The atmosphere was what you would expect from a themed dinner. If it weren’t for the Groupon price, I would have been more upset about the bill. The bacon was perfect.

Ruby’s is a bit of a traditional concept that won’t be a draw for the hipster craft crowds. But know that it is a very good tribute to that nostalgic era of the greatest generation and the decade after the big band went the way of the Beatles. The food remains of high quality. This is a family place to bring the kids. We were here on a summer Friday night for the car show. So expect to hear some guys talking about their builds. The service is friendly. Although our server was a bit slow this time. Took too long to refill and get our order taken. The Cobb salad is standard fare. I was trying to be healthy. It has plenty of mushrooms and tomato and lettuce. Could use a bit more bacon. Overall a good Cobb. Now the turkey sandwich is a go-to for wifey every time we come here. Its super tasty turkey breast and cranberries remind her of post-Thanksgiving leftover sandwiches.

Delicious food and always friendly staff! Another one of my favorite local spots. I usually get their super burger (man my mouth watered just thinking of it) this time though i got their ranch burger. My boyfriend got the sea food plate and we got calamari for an appetizer. And of course i always get a strawberry malt to go (didnt take a picture). Next time i get the super burger ill update this review.

Though the restaurant has been here for years the quality of the food has stayed high. The atmosphere is great but the furnishings need to be updated and replaced. Don’t they that deter you from eating here though, it is delicious.

This is a very nice place to have lunch or dinner in the heart of Whittier Area. It is located inside the shopping mall next to Kohl’s, Sear and 24 Fitness and many small businesses near by. Inside and outside this restaurant was very clean and roomy. The servers were also very friendly and helpful. I ordered a big beacon ,cheese , lettuce and tomato for lunch. It was huge and delicious. This burger was so good and juicy and it came with fries . It was so big that I have to cut it down to small portions. I was very happy what I have. Next time I should try something different from the menu. Services here were outstanding and friendly. The prices were decent and affordable.

I was so excited to discover Ruby’s diner! But, to be frank I was a little disappointed…
I took the guacamole burger: it was noticed: ” generous guacamole “: not that much indeed…The two slices of swiss cheese were cold and sticked together: not really tasty… The sweet potatoes fries were excellent!The strawberry lemonade as well! The atmosphere was lacking of fun and retro music which would have suit much better with that type of Old diner…The price was a little bit too high for me according to that!

I had the Super Burger and it was fantastic. We also had a Salted Carmel Malt which was amazing. The service was great the price was fair. Our waitress (Winona) was happy and full of energy. 100% enjoyed the entire experience 🙂 I was a little late on my picture there was another half and a full malt

In general the service and food at this Ruby’s Diner has been consistently excellent. In addition to the Cobb Burger I recommend the fish tacos but remember to bring your own Smoked Chipotle Tobasco sauce.
