Got the food door dashed. Wanted to try a couple things. Nachos, South West Egg Rolls, Mac N Cheese, and Brisket Cheese steak.

First the complaints:
Nachos were boring, not nearly enough cheese. Though the pork was cooked well just wasn’t worth the $18 I’d value them at about $6

The brisket cheese steak sandwich even though the meat was well cooked and juicy it’s missing out on several things. Cheese was lacking, had to pay extra for grilled onions, wouldn’t let me add grilled peppers which is weird…since onions and peppers are traditional. Bread was okay, but was normal store bought and barely toasted. Almost $20 for the sandwich I value at $8 maybe $10 because the meat was good.

South West chicken egg rolls were good, and the homemade ranch was excellent very well made sauce. Paid $12…for an appetizer it was a good portion so I’ll say it was worth it.

Mac and cheese was very well made and good breading on top. Cost me about $8 if it was a little bigger of a cup it would have been better value however it was the best thing out of all the dishes.

In summary (tl;dr) meat was very well cooked, and the flavor of the over all dish was decent but nothing to write home about. Display of food looked great. I still recommend giving it a try and trying it at the restaurant, may have lost some quality being a to go order. Still 4 stars.

Got to stop into this little barbecue side restaurant for a photo shoot and was impressed. Owner Jordan and his assistant Paris are both very down to earth and humble, friendly people just looking to make some good BBQ food. Keep in mind that when you visit the Smoke Daddy Smokehouse, it’s actually a ghost kitchen operating out of The Feed Bag Restaurant near downtown Fowlerville. Smoke Daddy does take out or delivery orders only, although he does have a food truck!

They have a variety of lunch and dinner options like tacos, brisket, pulled pork, and a selection of sides.

I am beyond pleased with the meal ai just had from here tonight. This place far exceeded my expectations. Got the 3 meat meal with baked beans, mac n cheese, and baked apples. Brisket was delicious, chicken was tender and flavorful, but the pulled pork was to die for! Incredibly juicy and flavorful. Looked like a one man show and he is really serving up some flavor

I got the chicken, brisket, pulled pork with brisket chili and beans. My family got the same thing with Mac and cheese with the Carmel apples, and let me tell you… it was not worth a dime in my opinion. I truly think everything comes premade from Walmart. Stouffers Mac and cheese, pulled rotisserie chicken, pulled jack Daniel’s pork, buschs baked beans! You might wanna buy some liquid smoke if you’re missing the Smokey bbq flavor. This place should be ashamed to call themselves “smoke daddy”. if you want less than mediocre bbq go buy those items and add some seasoning yourself. You’ll save a few dollars and 5 minutes writing an awful review.

Cannot rate it … it wasn’t open (Thursday 4:30 pm) despite my Google search indicated it was open. Business owner should add hours to their profile.
