I don’t just hand out stars but I can here twice before giving my review. I’m traveling the country by bike and came thru Boston. I had there pizza, Italian sub and fries and it’s so good. One of the best ever. Also they were so nice and welcoming each time.

I love the Pastrami, the roast beef, the chicken bomb, the steak and cheese, the mozzarella sticks and the steak tip sub. The chicken broccoli Alfredo is great too. Chicken cesear wrap is also really good Been coming here for 15 years. The calzones are good as well.
The fries remind me of McDonalds but sometimes they aren’t too crunchy.
The pizza here in my opinion isn’t too good but this place to me isn’t meant to be a pizza place even though it’s in the name. I’d recommend this spot to anyone just not for pizza. I still give it 5 stars though. A staple to my childhood.

Not how it used to be with the original owners. Old stale food over cooked to kill off bacteria. Very sad. Loved this place. Was not able to go for awhile and when I finally went back I was very disappointed. Barely any of my order. Waste of money. Why do people run businesses if they are going be cheap and cut corners? You’re playing with people’s health. Will not be back.

Mak’s is great! Their food is excellent no matter what you order. I love their hamburgers with bacon on it and its a hearty sized patty. Their roast beef is great and they pile it on. You also can’t beat their prices. Everyone’s nice and friendly there too. You definitely should order from them if you’ve never ate there before as I know you’ll enjoy it!

My first time ordering from Mak’s. I was pleasantly surprised. We had the roast beef and the pepper steak. Fully packed, fresh and delicious. The salad was fresh and crisp. Only thing that was a little disappointing was the baklava. It unfortunately was stale. Still delicious though.

The service was good, and they kindly answered my question on what the egg rolls, spinach rolls, and pizza rolls were. The place itself is pretty small with only a few seats.
I enjoyed the spinach roll; it had a creamy, savory flavor and a crunchy shell, but it was a little cold in the middle (they’re frozen beforehand, and then they fry them). I also ordered onion rings; the amount they give is very generous (an entire takeout box), so it’s very reasonable for the price. They were delicious, but a lot of them were stuck together, so it was a little bit messy to eat.
The person I was with thought the sandwich he got had too much meat and not enough cheese or other flavor, so it was just “okay.”

Could of been an off day for establishment.
I’ve never been there before.
Been on highway all day.
Drove through Revere and stopped at first take-out restaurant I saw.
I just wanted two slices of pizza to go to fill my stomach.
The two remaining slices looked like they were there from last week. I past on unappealing slices.
I ordered a chicken ceasar salad wheat wrap.
They did not have wheat. I went with plsin wrap.
Had to wait 15mins for a simple wrap.
Where they cook food and prepare, there is no line of site.
I’ve ordered Chicken Ceasar Salad wraps for decades.
They’re all made the same. So I thought.
I grabbed my wrap to go.
Sat in vehicle to eat a few bites.
There were no croutons!
There wasn’t any romaine lettuce. Just your standard filler lettuce.
There wasn’t any shards of freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
The chicken was tasteful.
Lastly the woman at the counter was tinkering in a Garden Salad to go plastic bin with her fingers, then I see her place said bin in mini glass fridge.
Prior I watched her answer phone calls, touch counter, rub her hand through her hair, tinker in salad bin, then placed in fridge.
She was wearing no protective rubber gloves.
Not once did I see her wash or wipe her hands at all.
Probably will not return to establishment on a whim.

Double Trouble
Pretty good food but not one but on two occasions I found a long piece of brown hair my steak and cheese. I brought this to their attention and the girl behind the counter (with long brown hair) said that it couldn’t of been from them because the cooks had short hair. I let it go but it would of been nice if i got an apology.

I ordered a steak tip Caesar. It was just lettuce tossed in the dressing already (this was take out, why would you mix the dressing already?) no croutons no parmesan. Shape up, Mak. Very disappointed.
