Had a wonderful time at LoLo Hawaiian. I would say that of all the Hawaiian style restaurants in the valley, this one is my favorite. The service was a little slower than some places, but the quality of the food made it worth it! The spam musubi was excellent. My wife had teriyaki chicken. I had pork and shrimp. The thing I loved about the pork was that the meat quality was excellent. The texture was much better than other places. Loved the flavors. The only complaint was that I wish there was more dressing on the mac salad. But it was still great. Can’t wait to go back!

Had the katsu and the kalbi. I thought maybe the reviews on the Calvin was wrong. I paid 1.50 extra for beyond grisly “meat” there were 2 bites that were actually decent. Don’t get it. The katsu was decent. In the picture that looks like meat it isn’t mostly gristle.
Oh people complain about the mac salad it is a whole lot better than mo bettas.

2nd time here. 1st time i got the chicken kutsu which was freshly made to order, 2nd time was a loco moco. and it felt like i was back home in Hawaii with every bite. had the same cook on both occasions, asian dude with glasses. 5 stars for him.

I placed an online order and set the pick up time for 1230p, since that’s when my lunch is. I placed the order at 12p and received a text message at 1210p saying that it’s ready to pick up. I wasn’t able to get there till 1245p, so my food, according to the info I was given, sat for 35 minutes. Sure enough, I get back to work to eat it, and everything is cold. Not even luke warm. The food was decent but pretty average. The atmosphere is beyond unwelcoming. I first went to the location in Ogden, years ago and told myself I’d never go back. I figured I’d give this location a chance but it was just as bad as Ogden. There is no ALOHA in this place! No Hawaiian music being played or anything. LOLO in Hawaiian means, crazy, and I’d be Lolo to come back.

It’s been a long time since I had some Hawaiian barbecue and it was so tasty. I will definitely come back again if ever I’m in the area. Also this restaurant sells Hawaiian Sun drinks. I recommend the Lilikoi! I grew up on that & it’s my favorite flavor. Try them all they all taste good, I bought 4 different flavors before I left, lol.

1st time here. Portions were large. Food was mediocre at best. Katsu chicken had no flavor and sauce is so vinegar forward. Macaroni salad was nice and warm since its packaged in the same box as hot food. On my way out, I asked the worker if there were napkins and silverware in the bag. She said absolutely! The bag was tied so tight I didnt want to fight to open it. My bad, neither was in the bag.

See update below too: I ordered the plate of short ribs. My daughter did a pick up. What I got was completely inedible flank steak w bone, and It was like rubber. I am very disappointed. The plate cost $23 what a waste of money.

Our service was nice and the building is clean and smells delicious. Unfortunately added a picture of my over hard eggs…if you like your over medium they are close…gravy is heavy on the onions. The Hawaiian BBQ plate awesome. Okay Mac salad.

The place was very clean and great atmosphere. The service was excellent and people were very nice. I ordered the Loco Moco plate lunch and it was not quite what I was hoping for. The first thing that threw me off was the premade patties. I was hoping it was homemade burgers. I ordered over easy eggs and they were fried hard. The grave was ok but would have lie to have more. The Mac Salad was ok but I’ve had better. I gave it a 4 star because of the burger, but being away from home I guess you can’t expect too much and have to be happy with what you got. Or just make it yourself. But I’m here on travel and didn’t bring my cooking stuff.
