Nice family restaurant. Enjoyed their pizza, came on “fish night” and it was busy with both dine-in and carry out. Service was exceptional! Front window could be improved with plants or flowers possibly? But the atmosphere overall was nice. Definitely stop in next time through town!

My husband and I came in to try Crusty’s Pizza in Remus tonight. Recommended by an employee, Ryan. Boy, he wasn’t wrong!! First, I had a special request, which they were able to do!! Made my night! Then we got our pizzas and OMG, sooooo good! Best pizza I have had in soooooo long! The price? Very happily surprised at the low prices for every ingredient being made from scratch! False advertising, mandatory tips and credit card fees.
We reserved a table for 3 for the Mothers day brunch buffet with “prime rib” carving station.
It was a country style buffet with GREAT bacon, mashed potatoes and a few other items. However, when I got to the “prime rib” station I noticed it did NOT look like prime rib. No marbling, no fat. It looked like corned beef. I got my slices, sat down and the moment I bit into it, it was 100% corned beef served with aju sauce.
Our waitress was kind and attentive but did no more than bring our drinks and ask how things were. On my receipt they placed a 20% mandatory gratuity on my bill along with a 4% fee for using a credit card at 20$ per person plus 3$ fountain drinks.
Now to clarify, the owner did take that mandatory fee off when I brought it up. I still left her a 15% tip because the issues I had were not her fault. However when I asked the owner if that was corned beef or prime rib he insisted, of course that it was prime rib. It most certainly was not. It was exactly what I have shown in the picture but served with aju sauce.
Suffice it to say, the false advertising on the prime rib was enough to warrant never returning. The rest, simply concretized that choice, sadly.
I was going to give it one star, but the food was actually pretty good.

I have tried Crusty’s Pizza several times. This is probably the best pizza in the state. Stick to what you know if you like cheap pizza! This is home made crust, home made sauce, and the freshest ingredients. It is the best in the area for sure.
You will not be let down. It is wonderful and worth a trip to Remus to get a locally owned hand made pizza. They are always trying new flavors and types of pizza.

Greeted by a smile and friendly service. We ordered the Wet Burrito with ground beef (chicken was the other option) and it arrived (quite large!) timely and was a combination of wonderful flavors. The beef was flavorful – not too dry nor was it greasy. We eat 99% wild game so to have beef occasionally this good is an extra treat. Covered in red sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, black olives with an optional side of sour cream & salsa, which we took advantage of. The atmosphere is comfortable with accents celebrating Michigan. We look forward to our next meal out here.

I’m new in town, but I heard this place is also fairly new. The pizza was loaded with toppings and the crust was yummy and doughy! We were there pretty early but the ice cream selection looks pretty good too. Cute place, friendly staff. We’ll definitely be back.
