Fun spot. There was a woman singing salsa the night we were there, quite good and not overwhelming. Place is decorated with beach toys and sombreros hanging overhead. Decent mojito. We had chicken fajitas and shrimp fajitas. Good size portions with good sides. Didn’t rush us at all.

We were staying at the hotel+suites next door to the Taco Shack, we had dinner and lunch there. It was A-MAZING!!!!!! Super delicious food! The Churrasco Steak was mouth watering. HUGE SHOUTOUT to our server Alexander, he was very welcoming and gave great service!

I probably could have had a better meal at a chain restaurant for half the price. Do not order the chips and queso. Unless you went nachos, like you get at the basketball games. This place had the most reviews and their reviews gave it a 4.6 rating. I’m gonna say a bunch of young partying tourists are the ones that rate this place. The steak tacos were too hard to chew. The chips were overcooked. The cheese for the chips and queso was nasty, liquid cheese from a can and wasn’t even spicy. The only mexican sauce they provided was a bottle of valentinos. Believe it or not the best thing I ate there was the “street corn” and that wasn’t even all that. They rang us up for somebody else’s order.
Not bringing us a ticket, just ringing us up. It was two meals and a kid’s meal And one beverage. They rang us up for 139 dollars. I then tipped without realizing they already give themselves a tip. Gratuity is added no matter the size apparently. Because we were charged for gratuity for a party of two and a half. I then asked if I could see an itemized statement, because I couldn’t believe that’s what we just paid. And thankfully, I did that because then I realized we were being billed for a picture of margaritas. And for adults that were sitting a table away from us. The beans were beyond salty. I literally think someone dropped a container of salt in there and said, i’m gonna run with this. The rice was mediocre. Needless to say, we would not recommend this place to anyone.

Definitely worth the visit. Surprisingly good and unique salsa! The tacos were bigger than anywhere on the beach! I love how I got a whole pitcher of water as the ladies drink their drinks. We will be coming back this trip! Fun place!

Delicious food with a really cool charm and laid-back beach vibe. The mahi burrito was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Live music was a great bonus and added to the fun atmosphere. Shoutout to Joe, our waiter, who was super helpful and made the experience even better. Definitely a spot worth coming back to!

Food: We’ve tried pretty much all the tacos. My favourite was brisket. Very good, well seasoned.
I was very impressed by the mushroom, my expectations ordering was slim to none but i got slapped by my arrogance.
Atmosphere: very unique, very comfortable and family oriented .

Staff and service was really good. Tacos were on point. I didn’t give 5 star due to the salsa and queso. The queso we ordered was melted velveeta cheese which is something I’ve never seen before at a taco joint. Velveeta should not be associated anything to do with Mexican food. Please fix this. Other than that the food, margaritas, and staff were really good.
