This place has the best tacos in town. We moved here from Texas and Tacos El Perico is where we go when we’re craving Mexican style street tacos. I love the barbacoa, but my wife’s favorite is carnitas. Also the horchata is delicious.

I ordered ahead for pick-up and was immediately greeted by a smiling employee that asked if I had a pick-up. It was only about an hour before closing on a Tuesday, so it wasn’t exactly packed. The dining area was clean and cozy and welcoming, and had a television playing sports quietly in one corner. Amd my food cooking as i walked in smelled absolitely AMAZING. I got 3 traditional tacos – barbacoa, picadillo and al pastor, along with an elote cup. It had been a spur of the moment craving and I have NO REGRETS. They were as amazing as they smelled. All 3 tacos were mouthwateringly delicious, and the elote cup had just the right amount of mayo, cheese and spice. Their food’s spiciness doesn’t just pack a punch, it has amazing flavor behind it, which is the key, imo. I will most definitely be back to try those tamales.

If you want some delicious authentic Mexican food, latin atmosphere, make sure to check out El Perico. Taco Birrias are fire and the horchata delicious. Everything i have try so far has been on point. Makes you feel like you are in Mexico at a local restaurant.

Had a taste for good birria and this was the number 1 recommendation in the area. Ordered at the counter and received good customer service. TV was a little loud, but we weren’t staying.

I tried the birria tacos con consumme, asada, al pastor, pescado, camarones, y chorizo. All were delicious with the al pastor, birria, shrimp, and asada as my favorites (in no particular order).

Definitely worth a visit and will be a repeat customer!

Went with my husband and kids. They are very generous with the taco fillings. We ordered birria and con some, tongue, tripe, shrimp, fish tacos and corn en vaso, rice and beans. It was SO GOOD. My husband was shocked how good the tripe tacos were, said they’re crispy and full of flavor. Service was great. We plan to go back again real soon!

We were so excited to see El Perico open! Very friendly, nice clean space, and delicious food!!

I had the 3 tamale meal trying one of each. They were very good with a flavorful masa that wasn’t dry. The pork is exceptional! Probably the single best tamale I’ve had. I also really liked the horchata, it wasn’t too sweet and didn’t have the gritty mix on the bottom like some places here do.

My husband had the California burrito and a chorizo taco. He really enjoyed both and was excited to finally get to try a Cali burrito!

On our second visit I got the tamales again but he tried the 3 taco meal with 1 shrimp, 1 fish, and 1 steak/chorizo mix. We were impressed with the size of these tacos!! Filled to the brim. Definitely worth the money. He loved them so much he couldn’t pick a favorite!

Looking forward to trying them for breakfast soon!

I ordered 3 tacos from here. One chorizo, one ground beef and one steak. The chorizo and ground beef are the only reason I didn’t give it a 1 star. They were pretty good. The steak however was absolutely horrible. My first bite into the steak taco was a piece of bone. After discovering that and looking into the taco I found another piece of bone and realized the meat was old and hard. It had a freezer burn smell to it and was inedible. I can’t believe a restaurant would purposely serve old meat like it wouldn’t be recognizable.

The chorizo tacos were good and had a little kick to them. The pork tamales were also good.

Loved this place, the chorizo was so insanely good. It was very reasonably priced for this good of food. The inside is so cute as well, I will definitely come back.

I just called them and told them my food was not properly prepared and she told me he said he did properly prepare it and this is my corn, It is dry has no cheese or mayo I explain it to her and she just told me that he said he did it right… I have been going here for a year and never had this horrible service!
