Food is pretty good, most importantly it’s consistent- best orange chicken and lemon chicken I’ve found in the area. My father always gets the general tsao, which he likes spicy. We usually get wonton or chicken noodle soup, which is always good. We get extra sauce and they are kind enough to put a good sized portion and that is always very appreciated! Food always comes out hot whether its after the drive home or from a delivery. They do have a good sized menu with plenty of options, great combos, and the food always is fresh and hot. Pricing and portions are very fair- they give you plenty for 2 to share (meal comes with take out container of order and good sized container of rice). They also have a lunch menu, which is a bit smaller portions but great price, for 1 person. It’s a take out place, not a sit down restaurant, but they are always busy. Ho Ming Kitchen has been here forever, it’s family run, and always has loyal customers. It’s a small but typical Chinese fast style establishment, meaning you walk in, they have maybe 3 tables if you need to eat there and you order from the counter which has their menu displayed up top as well as on individual take out menus. I appreciate the table with extra sauces (soy, hot sauce, duck sauce) and there’s also a case of drinks for purchase by the register. Service is fast (15-20 min and they do deliver locally, which understandably takes a bit longer, we have waited 45 to an hour but no complaints). I recommend Ho Ming Kitchen, supporting local family owned establishments and one of the best Chinese food in the area.

It was a little late so I called to make sure they were still open. A lady had answered and I asked if they were still open and taking orders she said yes we are open til 11pm she was so pleasant. I placed my order for pick up she told me 15mins it would be ready. The place was very clean. They were friendly upon entering. The food was very good. I would definitely recommend them.

The food is excellent and no mistakes! This is really a take out operation. There are two tables available to sit and eat but no wait service. The restaurant is always busy which goes to prove the quality of the food. The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Ordered at 6 p.m. Called them at 7:30 where is my order? THEY THEN TALKED TO ME AS IF I WAS DUMB…AND THEN ASKED ME IF I COULD WAIT ANOTHER 15 MINUTES!!! THEN TRIED TO CHARGE ME A REDICULOUS PRICE OF 70.00 FOR CHICKEN AND BROCCOLI COMBO AND RIBS AND SESAME CHICKEN COMBO REALLY!!!! NO DISCOUNT NO NOTHING!!!! WORST SERVICE EVER!!!!! NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Ho Ming is my Dad favorite spot. Whenever I come home to visit I make a Ming run. It’s a guilty pleasure because of all of his meds. Lmao. That’s is life now. I have been eating here for years!!!!

I am a NYer living in Seattle and longing for Ho Ming’s Chinese food. Chinese food here is just not good in comparison to the East Coast. It is greasy, bland, and crazy expensive. I have yet to find a place where you can get a pint of this and a quart of that, so typical of the East Coast. So every time I come home to Long Island I constantly eat here at Ho Ming and inevitably bring some food back to Seattle. The food here is excellent fresh and so tasty. Their shrimp eggrolls are especially outstanding! I’ve never had a bad dish. With the pandemic I’ve had their shrimp eggrolls shipped out here. Pearl and her family could not be nicer! A new batch just arrived on Wednesday, September 22! I baked them in the oven and they are sooo delicious- light, crisp, and not greasy! Thank you, Pearl, Jimmy, and family! You made this Long Island girl very happy!!
