Was in Strawberry Square and decided to stop here for lunch. So lucky we did. This restaurant has a truly excellent lunch buffet. Lots of very good options. The service is also very good and we had a great time here. Excellent restaurant in Harrisburg.

Oh my goodness…. My girlfriend and i stopped in on a dreary sunday afternoon. Was greeted with a warm smile and happy attitude.
We ordered samosa, it was the first time I ever tried that dish, but goodness was it excellent.
For my entrée, I ordered chicken curry extra spicy, and garlic chili naan. Oh my. It was honestly the best Indian food I have had yet!
Highly recommend!

The ambience is perfect.. the crowd very Caucasian and the reviews are at 4.9 and maybe that is the problem for Indian Americans.. this eatery is not for you. Stay away. So here is my review for Desis in America only..
This restaurant suffers from the same problem many “Indian” restaurants with very large menus suffers from. Every dish is made from pre-made sauces, many questionable. The panneer appetizer came out horrible, as a curry with half cooked large pieces of onion, the curry sauce(!) was horrible.. how is that a dry appetizer.. barely any pieces of panneer, wonder why. The Peshawar naan had nuts in it, made like a filled in Paratha.. sucked. The lamb curry used a sauce more suitable for some tikka dish. Lamb meat needs to saute in its own sauces.. the fried rice maybe was a little decent, didnt see any veggie bits in there though. The chicken curry was Mehul. The lamb kebabs were no kabab.. just very large hard pieces of lamb somehow grilled.. a kabab needs to be ground pieces meat with all required spices.. Fail. The knky saving grace was they served rice with everything. We didnt even ask for takeaway boxes.
But caucasians seem happy with the food. Indeed a saw a white family order a to-go order for an upcoming party. Full disclosure I have eaten at Nepali restaurants, have friends that are Nepali chefs with 450k+ reviews online. Didnt see a single Indian American there except us. We got fooled by the reviews dating. Maybe the buffet on weekdays would have been better value with a “normalized” dishes.
I have to respond to the owner’s reply. The panneer appetizer is just that, an appetizer that is grilled and dry and meant to be eaten with a fork, toothpick or hand. not whipped into a curry. I wish I took a pic of that horrible appetizer. I rest my case. No need to respond any more.

I had an amazing experience at this Indian restaurant! The buffet lunch at just $12.99 is a fantastic deal, offering 15 delicious courses and dessert. The food was full of flavor, with the fried rice being particularly delicious—light and perfectly cooked with less oil. The grilled chicken was by far the best I’ve had, and the unlimited fresh naan was the perfect accompaniment. The spice level is also adjustable, making it great for all tastes. On top of that, the customer service was excellent, and there was no wait time at all. I highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine with great value and top-notch service!

I keep coming back here for lunch because the buffet is consistently satisfying and genuinely enjoyable. There’s a nice variety of Indian dishes, from rich, comforting curries to flavorful tandoori items, along with fresh naan and well-cooked basmati rice. Everything tastes thoughtfully prepared, well-seasoned, and fresh, which makes each visit feel worth it, even after coming multiple times.
The value of the lunch buffet is excellent for the quality and selection offered, and it’s easy to find something you’re in the mood for, whether you want something mild and comforting or a bit more bold and spiced. The staff is very friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is relaxed and pleasant, perfect for an unhurried lunch.
Overall, it is a warm, reliable spot for a good-quality Indian lunch buffet, and it’s a place I’m always happy to return to.

Excellent gluten-free-friendly buffet. $14.99. You can also grab and go the buffet (in a large Styrofoam container) for the same price. Friendly and knowledgeable staff that knew which menu items had gluten. Buffet is offered every day except Sundays until 3 PM. Stand outs include tandoori, chicken and the mixed pickle chutney. Amazing.

Amazing food. Weirdly classy place based on the store front. Beautiful plates. White table clothes. The tandoori chicken is banging. I also regularly get the butter chicken and Somosa Kat app. Never been disappointed. Definitely worth checking out

Good food. Most food were perfectly cooked including curry, vegetables, pea, except the chicken tikka which was bit dry and perhaps they used old big size chicken . Overall other food was great.

The food was great! The flavors were so delicately balanced. I was with a larger group and we got an array of meat and vegetarian dishes: lamb paneer, goat pasanda, mahkani paneer, chicken chow main, chili chicken, tandoor paneer, etc. the naan was so tender. We will definitely be back!
