Firstly, I have no complaints at all – the fried chicken was fantastic, and the dressing was simply amazing!
However, I have a small request that I believe could enhance the customer experience. It would be great if you could specify which pieces of chicken are available for the meal or perhaps offer the option to choose between dark meat and white meat for the Southern Fried Chicken at a different price point. I mentioned in my order comments that I preferred white meat, but I was charged an additional fee for it.
Other than that, I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and will definitely be ordering again in the future.

First time and my last time. Food wasn’t the best. I looked up the reviews before I went. I tried for myself and wasn’t satisfied at all. The pork chop was good. The candied Yams were dry and old. They don’t even look like candied yams. The fried corn….hold/drain the grease. The mac and cheese, I just couldn’t find the taste. The butter Pound Cake was dry for $6.50 a slice sheesh. I could tell whomever cut it had to recut cause they knew that piece was skimped. For the $30 I spent I just expected so much more flavor. Prices of food and quality should match. These prices should be no less than perfection. It just didn’t hit the spot. Pictures below. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it….3/10

This is my husband’s page I’m the person that made the purchase and eat the food ,I had the lemon pepper turkey wing and I can truly say it was the bomb, the collard greens aren’t canned they are real and they were delicious and the dressing i haven’t had dressing that tasted so close to mines it was omg delicious as well. I’m a master cook and I don’t eat every one cooking but to say so myself it was the best soul food I have purchased from any other restaurant that call themselves soul foods restaurants. The only thing that I didn’t like was the potato salad it was missing something but it was ok.

I would give this establishment a 5/5 rating. The flavors in each dish were perfectly balanced, and the ingredients tasted incredibly fresh. The smothered Turkey was cooked to perfection! The server was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations.

I ordered the turkey wing dinner. Came with cake like cornbread, dressing, yams, and rice and gravy. Everything was delicious. Only negative would be the price $20. $15 would be more appropriate for the portions. I’ll go back.

Update* lemon pepper turkey wing is DELICIOUS. 3rd time ordering. Dressing and Yams were good. I have the same comments about things I ordered in the past which means the negatives are consistent. Them greens tough and the taste is off. Black eye peas need broth-it’s like all the wetness cooked out of em. They are not bad tasting, just not as wet as I’m accustomed. Cabbage wasn’t delivered. Cornbread good. Meatloaf taste like sweet ground beef-it’s not together and too sweet. Okra stew taste fair but the canned tomato chunks dominate. After eating the lil okra out of it, I was left with them large tomatoes. I couldn’t up the 3 to a 4 star after the second time.
Butter Pound Cake taste good but the icing was too sweet and sharp sugar crystal bite-should’ve whipped the icing longer or serve cake without icing or icing on the side to pour.
I appreciate the secure packaging delivered from Uber Eats. I ordered two veggie plates so I could try a lot of sides. The cornbread didn’t have that southern look of richness, but it was a fair cornbread. The Black Eyed Peas were Mushy. The dressing was good, but sweet, no gravy or cranberry sauce given, i’m sure I would have got it if I was in the store. The greens had a kinda tough taste, not 100% my style on the taste, but the greens are real and I can appreciate real greens. Maybe a lil sugar will pep them up. The turkey wing needed a bit more smothering, it was a little pink on the inside, which is fine to show it wasn’t cooked too long, but it still was a bit stiff. The yams was more like a sweet potato mash chunk, it was tasty. I don’t eat warm potato salad, and I was surprised to see it packaged in the box with hot items. I would prefer it be separate and away from hot items. The mashed potatoes were delicious and the best item to me. I am lactose intolerant and can’t tell if these had milk or not, but I ate them anyway. Prices seemed fair and I was excited to see a new place. They have good reviews on some things so try the thing you like and let us know.

I discovered the restaurant while visiting a business next door. We order the Fish and Shrimp dinner and The Fried Turkey Wing dinner (Lemon Pepper). This food was made fresh and it was great. We both ordered the Collard Greens and Candied Yams as our sides. The yams could have been sweeter but they were flavorable.I loved my Turkey Wing and the Fried Fish and Shrimp were fabulous! I will be going back to get my Southern Cuisine fix! The service was very good as well

The food was warm, delicious and more than enough to enjoy, Jaylan and the staff were First Class . The restaurant was clean if they had indoor seating I would be there for a year or two. The menu had a large selection of soul, food and southern delights this is a restaurant you must visit if you come to Atlanta and the Atlanta Georgia area. Just Excellent food experience and Awesome Staff, willing to help.

No no no no no. Cornbread dressing was the absolute worst thing on my plate. Very dry, brittle, oddly seasoned, cold. It was just crushed up, burnt cornbread. Candied yams, barely any in there !and were hard and chewy- overly sweet, not sweetened perfectly. Not what I see in the pictures/advertised. Mac n cheese, very basic- not the most moist, and definitely not true Southern. Are plates suppose to come with at least 1 cornbread?? Cause it didn’t. That’s really what I wanted. I had the option of extra cornbread. Why give that option to get extra, if none comes with it? Anyways, the collard greens were okay. Slightly salty, but had everything else been good, it would have balanced it out nicely. Looking at someone else’s review of their pictures versus what I received..it is a night and day difference. I am highly disappointed.
