I tried to resist Catrina today. I really did. But i’ve been craving birria ALL DAY, so I finally caved. I put on my pajamas like a solid individual with priorities, and drove straight there with no shame.
I ordered the birria burrito to go and respectfully, it changed my life. Rich, flavorful, and messy in the best way. Exactly what I needed. Then I made the excellent decision to get a churro with caramel filling, which was so good. Warm, sweet, and delicious.
At this point I would like to formally state that I want to kiss the chef on the lips (consensually). Absolute legends in the kitchen. If you see someone pulling up in pajamas for birria, mind your business. I’m having a moment.

some of the BEST steak TACOS! and the VERY BEST QUESO anywhere!! also best green salsa too! also the steak quesedillas are bomb too ! lastly try the Tres Leches cake its the best desert anywhere in my opinion ! if you havent eaten here they are well worth the stop! the staff is kind and chefs do a great job! i love their lunch taco special its 3 steak tacos rice beans and a drink like $10 ! i like my steak tacos with no onions double cilantro with lots of lime and green salsa! try it out! also if you get steak quesedillas try with sour cream or white queso or both! this place is bomb

Food is very good. Highly recommend any of the burritos. It’s the size of a full-grown man’s arm (wrist-to-elbow). And they taste absolutely amazing. One of the best tex-mex burritos in the area. You would not be disappointed.

Went to Catrina’ Fresh Mex in Owasso the other day, looking for something different. Went with the Calaca Steak Fries.
Servers were really friendly and the place was small, but really clean.
The food was good, with everything well seasoned. I will confess, it missed the mark somewhat once the toppings were eaten and I was left with half a container of soggy, cold fries.
That said, what I did eat was more than enough for lunch. Not sure how to solve the problem with so many fries compared to the toppings. It was good, but not sure I’d order it again.

This will be the fourth Catrina so have been too. They are all good.The breakfast burritos are very tasty. The Law burrito is giant.

I’ve had Catrina’s once before at their Jenks location and we really enjoyed it so we thought we’d give it another shot in Owasso. We were not disappointed! The burritos are HUGE! Like big enough for two meals. I like their habanero salsa but the flavor didn’t seem to be as good as I remembered from last time. Not a big deal though. This time I got the Al Pastor and my wife had a Machaca (egg and shredded beef). Mine was good but honestly I liked hers far better! The Al Pastor was soft and sorta got lost in the beans and rice in the burrito. He shredded beef had a great flavor and had more structure and chew to it. They were both great though and we enjoyed ourselves just as much as last time. We will return!

My partner and I came in to try their Taco Tuesday special (6 street tacos for $10). The waiter and waitress were super friendly, and our food came out quick. My partner loved the chicken tacos, I thought they were flavorful and chock full of toppings, but I preferred the steak ones. Very simple with lots of flavor! Their piña and Jamaica drinks are refreshing and hit the spot. If you’re in town, this is a must!

I ordered a take away order today. It was my first time in as a customer. I was excited to try out the food, but the staff need to work on their customer service. My order was ready except for the drinks. When they go to fill the drinks, I hear ice; however, I specifically asked for no ice when I placed the order. I had to repeatedly say “no ice” until she could hear me. When she finally heard me, the other workers looked at her as if she was upset. One other worker said I didn’t have that in my order. I told her that I did. When they give me my drinks, I was perplexed because I ordered 32 oz drinks and not 16 oz drinks. I’m pretty sure I over paid and didn’t receive the right size drinks. When I said if these were the right size, the girl looked confused and said yes. When I asked what size were the larger ones, she just said “those are the large”. I’m certain the “large” are the 32 oz drinks and not what I received.
This is very disappointing as I’ve heard good things about this place, but if this is how they treat their customers, then I won’t be returning or recommending people here.
In addition, when I’m outside putting my order in my car, I could see the workers looking outside at me laughing.
Ridiculing customers shouldn’t be an automatic reaction to their mistakes. I was nice despite their rudeness.
If you do order from here, make sure you check your order and submit a complain if applicable.

Go now! We moved here from out of state and haven’t been impressed with the Mexican food here. I’ve been waiting for a place with a real grilled chicken burrito and this checked all the boxes. The food was amazing, fresh, and the team is so nice! They were fast and the place was so clean! So excited for my favorite new Mexican food spot!

Food is delicious, people are nice, fast service and moderate pricing and options. They have more takeouts compared to dine-in and that is because of the limited seating.
The lunch special for 2 people is $20.00 and I think if you were to piece things out and wanted chips- you would be about $30. So, there is a little complaint about the pricing and menu. Chips are additional cost although they have a salsa bar, I found that very interesting. Baja Jacks down the road has chips and salsa with the meals, and so does all Mexican food options in town- maybe that can be changed in the future. Overall, we will continue to come back for the lunch special.
