The Grind is hands down the best coffee spot in St. Pete. The food is amazing, always fresh and homemade. There is something for everyone here! The atmosphere is welcoming and homey, it’s a great spot to get work done. Last but not least, the staff is just the best. If you’re looking for a new coffee spot to frequent, look no further. You are in for a treat!!!!

Pleasant coffee/breakfast/lunch spot on the USF campus. I live nearby, but only visit occasionally since I’m usually headed downtown. If you’re looking for a quiet spot to have coffee outside or inside, this is one of the best places south of downtown near the water. The atmosphere is less institutional than Kahwa in the student center, and less corporate than Starbucks in the Hilton. The outside seating is relaxing, unlike the coffee shop at the USF bookstore, which has only a few uncomfortable metal tables with attached chairs along busy 5th Ave S.
How is the coffee? I can only comment on the regular latte, which is very good. They also offer the obligatory sugary drinks masquerading as coffee that many Americans prefer.
Speaking of sugar, one quibble: The multigrain bread is sweet (as is often the case). I’d recommend choosing something else if you enjoy a savory sandwich such as the bacon, egg, spinach and tomato (BEST).
Occasionally there can be issues with smoke outside.
For dinner check out The Tavern next door. It has live music, and the grouper is great.

Being right next to the USFSP campus is such a win for students. Of course, if you’re a student you have to use your own resources to get food here, but the food here is good and the environment is super cozy and welcoming. Great for just a nice relaxing lounge, sit and eat while working on some schoolwork or whatever.
Their seasonal beverages are always a hit, especially their refreshers. Overall, I really recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice chill and relaxing place to eat and get some work done. Both the inside and outdoor seating is really nice. The food is okay, nothing crazy, but hits the spot perfectly. Customer service is always easy and the people working are super nice and chill.

Love our friends at the Grind! Their matcha is never bitter and perfectly sweetened. If you’re going to try food, give their breakfast quesadilla (with bacon) or the lox bagel on an everything bagel, you won’t regret it! I recommend giving their seasonal menu a try, you never know if you’ll find a new favorite.

Where do I begin? This place is the bomb dot com! Family owned, friendly staff, chill atmosphere. Not to mention that the food and drinks are delicious! I have never had a bad drink here. Their coffee and tea are both super good. If you go, you have to try the Lox bagel! As a self-proclaimed lox bagel enthusiast, I have tried so many and I can honestly say that the Grind’s is the best one in the area. Good eats, good sips, and good vibes.

Cozy ambiance has returned here after recent renovations from the hurricane! The coffee is delicious and the patio is still inviting. This off the beaten path coffee shop and cafe is a must visit stop on USF campus.
