There is a girl who works here (she was working last night) I don’t know her name but she always makes my sandwiches so pretty looking and they taste amazing. I am pregnant so I am a hard critic and I usually don’t leave reviews for places but she has made me a regular customer. My husband usually picks up my sub but I asked him to get her name next time so I can add it to my review

The subway is located at 356 Memorial Ave, West Springfield MA. (12/16/2024)
I am extremely upset and dissatisfied with this entire experience and such poor customer service. If I could choose 0 stars, I would.
After being hospitalized for 6 days and unable to eat for 7, all I could think about was this one sandwich from Subway. I was craving it so much and could not drive, that I had my sister go in my place. I wrote out the order, spoke to the employee over the phone, and even repeated everything to ensure it was correct. All I wanted was to finally take a bite of my sweet onion chicken teriyaki sandwich—my mouth was watering just thinking about it. But when I got it, I was deeply disappointed.
Here’s the order I placed: Sweet onion chicken teriyaki on herbs and cheese bread (instead of grain), with spinach instead of lettuce, and a few banana peppers. Everything else was to be as it’s typically made on that specific sandwich on the menu (please refer to the picture of the order shown to the employee below). However, what I received was far from what I expected.
Not only was there only 3 small pieces of chicken on the sandwich, but it was also loaded with olives and various types of peppers, not what was on the order, (please refer to picture below). I’m allergic to olives, and thankfully, I noticed one that fell out of the sandwich before things took a turn for the worse. This was the result of poor communication and a lack of attention from the staff, which is incredibly disappointing.
I immediately tried calling the store 6 times to resolve the issue, but no one picked up, or I was hung up on. So, I went to the store in person. The employee there was alone and didn’t have any information on how I could contact someone to address the situation. I left my number.
I finally spoke with the manager, Sue, and after a frustrating exchange of “he said, she said,” I tried to remain calm. I explained that while I could overlook the other mistakes, the olives and the lack of chicken were serious issues. Sue was unhelpful, claiming, “I only made the sandwich as it was ordered” (referring that my sister never showed her the photo). My sister definitely showed her the picture, and both of us know I’m allergic to olives. Instead of listening to my concerns, Sue called me “snotty” and repeatedly interrupted me. I was upset, but I didn’t feel that I was disrespectful in any way. Even when she admitted that there may have been a request for no olives, her response was dismissive, saying, “What do you want me to do?” A good manager would have offered a solution, but instead, I was met with indifference.
Sue also mentioned that there are cameras that record the sandwich-making process. I sincerely hope someone above this branch takes the time to review the footage to understand and see the situation.
-One very disappointed customer

Just came from this Subway on Memorial Drive in West Springfield I thought they were joking about charging me for the subway crunch that’s ridiculous I understand that you got to make a living but charging for Subway crunch when you’re not supposed to do that that’s just robbery I go to the other Subway stores in the surrounding areas which is Chicopee Springfield and parts of West Springfield cuz I enjoy the sandwiches and they all say that they’re not supposed to charge for Subway crunch even the owner from this store wanted to charge me. Plus when you asked for a half a sandwich they end up cutting it really short which lets me know that they know what they’re doing and they are real stingy with the portions I’m like it’s only lettuce and spinach you could put on a little more this is a damn shame I’m pretty sure this owner from this Subway is going to get a lot more complaints cuz this is really ridiculous times are hard (brother) why are you trying to make it hard for everybody else….

I went to this subway a couple days ago and ordered a foot long sandwich. The young lady with a slight tint of purple hair got mad at me all of a sudden, then proceeded to spit in my sandwich, step on it and tell me to leave this instant. I didn’t enjoy the sandwich at all

Fresh grinders, fast service, they have a 6.99meal of the day deal (6inch grinder, soda, and chips) make it a foot long for $3 more. Employees are fast and courteous. The place is clean. I recommend the ultimate BMT with fresh vegetables on Italian bread.

I purchased a “order pickup” from this location. When I rushed out with my order and sat down to eat it. I was disgusted by the strand of hair I found. I ended up throwing the sub in the trash ️.

I stopped by at 7:15AM to get a sandwich for lunch because I would not be near a food place later. Online and the sign on the door states this Subway opens at 7AM. The door was locked and the clerk inside said they don’t open until 8AM. Please update your times so people don’t waste our time driving over to a closed store!

This review is mostly based on one bad experience. The food is average Subway quality in general. Last time I was in it was a late afternoon. The guy in front of me had his sub made and was getting ready to pay. Told the worker he didn’t need a bag, was going to eat in store. The worked said he couldn’t eat in store. When asked why the worker said he didn’t feel good. When pressed the worker said something about him being the only one working so he needed to make the subs and couldn’t take care of the dining area. The customer was upset and after a bit of arguing said he was going to just sit down and eat. The worker grabbed the sub back, turned to help me, and ignored the original customer. I’m not sure what was going on here, but the optics weren’t good. There were no signs or anything about the dining area being closed. Not a good situation.

If I could give this Subway 0 stars I would. Stopped in quick to ask if the person I was with could use the PUBLIC restroom and was denied entry. The employee behind the counter was rude and not helpful at all. I even offered to make a purchase so the person with me could use the restroom. We even let the employee know there was a medical condition that would warrant its use. We still were denied access. What a disgusting establishment and this person should receive some remediation. Also, the franchise owner should be ashamed of themselves for running a business like this. I would never return here, and will certainly tell others to do the same.
