Simple Thai & Sushi is good, but not great. While the service was good for eat-in the atmosphere was very much lacking. Get carry out and make your own atmosphere.
The Cashew chicken was fine, but again, nothing special. The Sushi was also average at best. I can recommend the Apple Salad which if you get it as a carry out affords you the option of adding a light dressing.
My leftovers made a great lunch the next day, but it was a weak dinner out the night before.

A hidden Gem!! They’re located in a small strip mall away from most other businesses, we drove past the first time, and we’re Very Happy we turned around. Aside from sushi I had in St. Thomas, this is the best sushi I’ve Ever Had!! We were promptly greeted by a charming young lady with a genuine smile. We chose both sushi and Thai menus and ordered samples from both. We were checked on appropriately while reviewing the menus, not too much, not too little. While waiting for food to be prepared we were delighted with conversation from our host. When food arrived we were complimented by our host for choosing one of her favorite dishes, their Honey Chicken, which was AMAZING!! Sushi was PHENOMINAL, the Hawaiian Crunch Roll was our favorite, the Red Dragon and Jalapeno Rolls were almost as good, Very Very close seconds!! This was Definitely the BEST dinning experience and food we’ve had in a VERY Long Time. I will be looking for excuses to make the 2 hour drive and eat here again!! Thank you for such an Incredible Experience!!

One of the best Thai restaurants in Oakland county. Very tasty food and right level of spiciness. Ask for medium level of spices to test how tough you are. Manager of restaurant is a very nice person and great chef!

I was here earlier to place a catering order when the previous poster, Chad ordered. The staff handled him phenomenally.
His spouse ordered the wrong dish for him and when staff offered solutions, he started yelling at the waitress AND manager after he asked for one… The manager kept offering free credits, a refund or his food remade. She kept her cool and stayed calm while he got angrier. It was so lovely to see the owner back the girls up too. They have authentic food, awesome staff, and delicious in house desserts. I will definitely be taking my business here more often.

I had a long day so I decided to go out to get dinner, I decided to get simple thai. When I arrived I was greeted by a helpful and knowledgeable wait staff. My food came quickly and was delicious. 5 stars across the board and would get again!!!!

Okay I really want to see this restaurant thrive. Tasty, cost conscious Thai dishes and surprisingly acceptable sushi if you want to grab something local. If you’ve been to this place before, you might know that ownership has changed a few times and now it has a new set of owners and a new name.
The owners are very nice and will have a pleasant conversation with you while you wait for your food.
We really enjoyed the texture and taste of their Pad Thai and it might be one of our favorites when we are craving some Thai. We have had a couple of their curries and they have all been flavorful. I will preface that we got medium spicy and their spice level is probably warmer than most. You should always be prepared at any Thai place to order food once and gauge how you feel about the spice level to your tastes and order in the future accordingly.
Try this Thai place out so we can continue to keep more options around in Waterford and grow our cultural palates!

Terrific. My son and I ordered 4 very different items so we could enjoy a variety and we were not disappointed. Everything was excellent, reasonably priced and generous portions. We moved the the area a year ago and this place has instantly become one of our favorite local restaurants.

In the Pontiac area for the day, in the mood for Thai and, of all the nearby Thai restaurants, this was the only one serving food after 8:30 pm.
(Most closed by 9 pm. At the first restaurant that we stopped into just past 8:30, we were told that the kitchen typically closed at 8:45 pm but had shut down earlier that night. ♀️)
It’s a small, unassuming restaurant with about 5 tables for dining in.
When we arrived, we were reassured by seeing a large family already enjoying their meal. Then, shortly after we were seated, a family of 3 entered along with several customers coming in to pick up takeout orders. So the place was hopping at 9 pm on a Saturday night!
Service was good + timely. They were really sweet.
I ordered the Massamam Curry with Beef + requested it spicy. He asked whether I meant “medium” + I assured him I wanted “hot” + it was the perfect spice level!
The coconut curry was rich + creamy. The sliced beef was tender. It had the right ratio of potatoes + onions to meat. (Some places skimp on the meat + load up on the fillers.) A well-made dish!
I’d definitely go back if I’m in the area again.
