Honestly their cook was fantastic and so was their serving staff. They had a wide variety of food options and everything was cooked perfectly.
I highly recommend stopping in. They have huckleberry ice cream and an amazing churro cake. We had a party of 12 and they accommodated us well.

We stayed out here for a pre Valentine’s getaway. We stopped in here for lunch and got the blt with Cajun fries and the fries with the carne asada (can’t remember the name sorry). The food was hot and delicious everything was super fresh. It was so good we decided to go back later for dinner. My hubby had the mushroom burger and I had the salmon. Everything was so so good. The only thing I wish is the baked potato would have had salt and pepper and sour cream. It was a tad plain with just butter. But I would 10/10 recommend this place to anyone!! Wish I had a chance to try the breakfast but I wasn’t able to.

We were looking for a tasty sit down experience in Montpelier and found it at Rooster’s. I went right for the salmon because I could tell from the menu it was going to be great. And it was! We had a large party that they seated us without a problem. They had indoor and outdoor seating. They had had kids menus and drawing activities to keep them occupied while the food was being prepared. We were stuffed after eating so we didn’t try too many of the desserts, or their ice cream, but it looked great and we will definitely be back.

Such a fun restaurant with amazing food. We really loved the calamari and its 2 dipping sauces. My club sandwich was amazing and my husbands philly-cheesesteak was perfect with its pepper-jack cheese. Service was amazing!!! Thanks

This is one of those hidden gem, small town, so freaking good places!!! The food has tons of flavor, lots of options for people. We are going to be regulars when we come to town. Go there! Breakfast lunch or dinner is a must!

Service was Awesome! Fun place to stop! Loved the Calamari and sauces. Also liked the Montpelier Special an open-faced beef sandwich and salad. Cheesecake was good. Husband had the filet mignon done med well and it was really bloody so they put it back on the grill. The rootbeer was good. Would highly recommend!

We had great burgers here for lunch on Saturday. On the following Tuesday coming back from Grand Teton, we refused to pay premium for mediocre food at Jackson. Instead we drove two hours in order to get dinner here. Sadly we found out that it’s closed on Tuesdays. Although we have limited days left, I see us coming back again.

Matt and I like to go out to dinner a few days before Valentine’s and avoid the crowds. Our plan had been to go down to Garden City and eat at Cafe Sabor, a place we really like, but he had some after-hours work to do, so we decided to eat locally so we wouldn’t be getting back so late.

We went to Roosters Grazing, and I have to say, it was amazing. I had a really hard time choosing what to get because everything looked so good. We chose to get the Cobb salad and the chicken marsala and share. Oh, my goodness – so much deliciousness. The marsala surprised me because it came with two lovely pieces of chicken where most places only give you one, the risotto was super creamy, and even the mushrooms were done to perfection. I may have snarfed most of the asparagus on the plate. The salad came with a ton of chicken, bacon, blue cheese, and all the good stuff. We ate until we were full and brought home some lovely leftovers for breakfast, although they might not last that long.

I was disappointed at first that our Valentine’s plans got derailed, but I’m not disappointed at all anymore. If you live in Montpelier or will be traveling through, plan to stop at Roosters Grazing. The sauces etc. are made from scratch, everything is super fresh, the produce in the salads is crisp – I can’t praise it highly enough. And shout out to Elizabeth, our server, who was super friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Rooster’s Grazing in Montpelier is an absolute gem that never fails to impress. Every visit is phenomenal, with consistently delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere.

A standout dish that keeps us coming back is the Lemon Clucker. Zesty, grilled chicken breast marinated in lemon and garlic is simply unforgettable. It’s a must-try if you’re a fan of savory and subtly tangy dishes. The menu is diverse enough to cater to anyone’s palate, making it a perfect spot for gatherings with friends, family, or even a solo treat.

If you find yourself in Montpelier, don’t miss out on this delightful spot. Rooster’s Grazing truly embodies a perfect blend of delicious cuisine and great service. Highly recommended!
