Awful food and even worse service. I ordered a 12 in. BLT pizza and it wasn’t cut all the way, so it tore into a mess. The pizza tasted doughy and like a pile of lettuce. I politely asked for a refund, and the owner must have felt disrespected because he got extremely rude. For a $20.00 personal pizza, you should do better and not be so confrontational with your customers. This isn’t a Giovannis problem. This is specific to this location. The others make it right. The employees at the store are respectful and polite. All this guy had to do was apologize and offer to do better next time and I would have given them another shot. I’m a picky eater and a loyal customer to a business that treats me right.

After five years of online ordering at Giovanni’s in Oak Hill at least twice a month, tonight will sadly be our last. My husband has Alpha Gal syndrome and experiences anaphylactic reactions to dairy. After placing his online order, he called to request the cheese be removed from his calzone—something we’ve done without issue since his diagnosis. Unfortunately, management refused to accommodate this request and still included the cheese. We’re truly disappointed and puzzled by their unwillingness to make this simple adjustment.

wow if I could leave 0 stars I would. If your pizza is made wrong and it probably will be don’t eat it because you won’t be able to get any kind of help unless you bring in the full pizza to show them that they messed up. Customer service was nonexistent. We ordered 1 16” pepperoni pizza on thin crust well done, was not on thin crust or well done. We also ordered a deluxe 16” well done on regular crust but it was on thin and undercooked completely. I’m assuming these mistakes were made due to the sunglasses the owner (completely rude) was wearing while working inside at 7:30pm. We called to see if we could just get a refund for one pizza even though there were two messed up! While calling we were greeted with nothing and told that we were out of town and new customers. In addition the owner claimed he never even got our order even though we placed it, picked it up, and paid in full. After realizing we did in fact have an order with him he refused to help with the mistake he had made. He said he wanted the pizza to be brought it and he would put it back in the over for us. He then said it had to be the full pizza, unfortunately since we did try to eat 2 pieces he wouldn’t accept. He then said we were trying to scam him and called us liars. We aren’t, we don’t lie, we just wanted to enjoy a good pizza while visiting my grandparents.

The food is good but it’s not worth it for the fact that the owner and his son are INCREDIBLY rude people. To customer and to their staff. They think they can be as rude as possible to people and don’t care because the community will still come in and give them business. Give your business to any other Giovanni’s or ANY other local pizza shop because they don’t care, and they’ll make fun of you behind the scenes

Place went to hell real fast for some reason. Got told they don”t deliver. BS! Our daughter only orders from them and she ONLY orders delivery. We live in the same house, less than a 2 min drive from Giovanis. It’s OK though our money, and any and all of our future orders going to Kali’s!

They close when they want and then you show up to pick your food and they blame it on you then try to charge you for it like it’s your fault…
