Reviews
The service is friendly, professional, and fun.
Gig Harbor Brewing has two locations, the Gig Harbor taproom and the actual brewery, which is located in Tacoma.
They have a selection of beers and a cider or two on tap. Dead Mans Island IPA is my favorite. The cider on tap is not a GH Brewing product but is popular as well. Give it a try.
If you’re on the move, they have a self-service cooler loaded full of beers to-go.
The taproom is located at the Boatyard right on the Harbor with great views of the harbor and the small pavilion and park next door, which is home to many activities year round.
Hungry? GH Brewing has a small selection of bagged goodies available in-house to snack on. Or directly next-door, the adorable Gig Harbor Trolley is offering up a great menu from burgers, salads, fish-n-chips, and chicken fettuccine. You are free to order up and bring your meal into the taproom to enjoy with a nice cold beer!
See you there!
Update: It’s February 2025, and Gig Harbor Brewing has just changed ownership. Along with the new owners comes a new name, Evergreen State Brewing.
I’ve already met the new owners, and my first impressions are positive.
I loved Gig Harbor Brewing as it was, but I’m looking forward to the next chapter.
Met a swimmer of Olympic potential and good conversation was had.
Tender helped with local next stop suggestions. Great smiles and affordable beverages made this a great place to visit.
We were doing some bar hopping along the harbor and this place was just OK. Glad to see they have some NA options. We all tried the local beers of course, the IPA and the Blonde. They were meh. There are adirondack chairs outside and the view from the north side of the wraparound deck is lovely, we watched a wedding take place in the park below.
Ended up meeting one the gentlemen who actually brews the beer. Very much enjoyed my visit.
Would highly recommend
We loved our lager and cider. We also was able to bring in our food from “the trolley” next door.
Both experiences from each establishment, great!
Come visit a local!
