This was the worst Chinese food I have ever eaten in my life. My chicken on a stick was sour. Most Chinese restaurants give 5-6 big pieces. I got 4 very small pieces. I don’t know if the chicken went bad, or of vinegar was spilled on it. It was awful. My combination platter was spilled all in the bag from the cook not putting the lid on it all the way. I will ever be going back. I recommend you going to No 1 China in Brentwood. The address is 127 Franklin Rd, Brentwood, TN 37027. “They are the best” The only reason I didn’t is because they were closed. This was my 1st and last time coming here. Never again China Wok.

I have been taking out from China Wok for more than five years,
often several times a week. I was elated they survived the Covid downturn.The family running this operation couldn’t be nicer and more accommodating. The food is very good. Some dishes on the menu they prepare better than others. I have ordered enough times here to figure that out. If I want a dish less spicy or light on the broccoli or perhaps pork instead of chicken in the chicken noodle soup, it’s never a problem and they get it right. The soups, particularly the House soup are
tasty and healthy. The fried dumplings are awesome. I have found in the last few months the food has gotten even better. If you are looking for high end Chinese cuisine like you might find downtown Nashville this is not your place. That is why I didn’t give them the fifth star.If you are looking for consistently good and reasonably priced Chinese food with generous portions I recommend you try them out.

Ordered chicken and broccoli started eating mixed everything up and found an insect of some sort! Called to let them know and immediately was told “there’s no way there’s now way” and asked would i like it replaced or I can come to the store and get my money back… once I declined replacing he then changed it to “oh well then just request a refund through DoorDash because we don’t have your money” “and I need to go because I have customers wanting to order” like a bug in the food of your paying customer wasn’t important …. I did end up going up there and getting a refund but there was no sorry not even once and he had the money on the counter waiting for me he said no words to me at all. Very poor customer service and even sorrier food. Beware and check your food at this place !

I ordered food here last night and the whole staff was extremely excellent and professional. The food was amazing especially the ribs and crab rangoon. The orange chicken was great. I always though panda Express had the best orange chicken well not anymore. I def recommend going here if you want not good but great food and a great experience.

I placed my order for pick up. I was there when they first opened. So I know that what was about to happen was in no way what I would have expected. I ordered the Chicken in Garlic Sauce. When I picked it up and brought it back to my office, it was cold….like not even warm! Biting into the chicken, I could taste how cold it was in the center of the chicken. I am not saying that it wasn’t cooked or raw, I am just saying that the food was cold. Which leads me only to believe that this food is NOT fresh at all! This food was precooked and refrigerated. Unfortunately for them, they should have started warming up this food sooner as now that I am aware of how they operate, I will never go back! If I wanted to purchase “warmed up” food I would have just eaten the leftovers I had from another restaurant. VERY DISAPPOINTING!

My first time here today and it was a no for me. The lady was so nice, but the shrimp fried rice was so nasty, the rice was to soft and had no flavor and the shrimp was mushy. I’m at the point of tired of searching for good Chinese food in Tennessee.

Very good. General Tso’s Chicken was crisped to perfection. Young lady working register and cooking was super friendly and polite.
Husband had combo platter also, but chicken and broccoli. He liked! Very generous portions too. We had enough left over for our lunch the next day. Way to go

We ordered Szechwan chicken and garlic shrimp with fried rice, spring rolls and crab Rangoon. The fried rice was good as well as the fortune cookies. The rest of the food was horrible, incredibly greasy and bland. Do not waste your time and money.
