From the moment you walk through the door the most warm and inviting restaurant I’ve ever been to! The food is unique in the best way and every dish is so flavorful. Order the eggplant appetizer, burrata caprese, and short rib bourguignon! Every one of your taste buds will dance with excitement! 10/10!

Heirloom is a gem in a strip mall on Beach @ Ellis. Owned by mother & daughter team Leo & Brianne, the executive chef, lovingly decorated with fabulous items that carry personal meaning, they’ve created a warm, welcoming environment. The bar seating is open to the kitchen where Alfredo & Misty (apologies if I got names wrong) greet you & invite questions. The wine list is eclectic & thorough. From the rose Cremant, to the Picpoul de Pinet, to the cabernet, they were delicious & paired beautifully with our meals of French onion soup (the best this soup lover has EVER had), scallops & the filet special. Lucas was very knowledgeable about the menu & provided kind, fun service far above expectations. Finishing with a surprisingly light & delicious cheesecake; we enjoyed the plating, the engaged conversation, the fantastic food & entire experience. Will be back, often! Thank you very much!

Heirloom Kitchen in Huntington is one of those places that makes you stop and smile from the moment you walk in. It has this modern rustic vibe, warm wood, open kitchen, and a real farmhouse feel that makes it feel like a little slice of Europe right here. You can actually see the chef working at the bar like it’s a performance, and the love and intention behind every dish really shines.

We started with the Caesar salad, which isn’t your typical Caesar. It’s made with kale and arugula, with crunchy radish, pepitas, housemade croutons, and a creamy eggless dressing. The chicken breast on top was juicy and finished with chives—such a thoughtful take on a classic. The halibut was a standout for me, served with an Asian flavor profile and paired with Brussels sprouts, mushrooms, broccoli, green beans, crispy shallots, cilantro, and green onion—it was so balanced and bursting with flavor. The cauliflower came perfectly dressed and spiced, just the way we like it, and the shrimp curry appetizer might be one of the best curries I’ve had. The shrimp were enormous, the sauce was generous without being heavy, and the crispy shallots and fresh herbs on top pulled it all together. We ended with their crème brûlée, topped with blueberries and mint, the perfect sweet finish.

What makes this place even more special are the people behind it. Meeting the mother and daughter who own it was such a treat—you can feel how much love they’ve poured into creating a space that feels like you’re eating Michelin-level food in someone’s home. And the service matched the food. Our server Timmy was warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about our experience.

This is the kind of restaurant that makes you want to linger. Beautiful food, heartfelt service, and a vibe that feels welcoming and intentional. I can’t wait to come back.

Really enjoyed this little spot. Scallops were decent and the short rib was really good. I loved the presentation on the short rib. Sort of a deconstruction display. The Mac and cheese app might have been the best thing we had! lol Loved the French onion soup too. Service was solid! Our waiter was really good.

Premium price inferior quality! Seems like another french bistro wannabe. They have good ideas on their menu, but very poor execution. We had to return the french onion soup because it’s way oversalted. The curry shrimps was okay, still quite oversalted. The entrees came out. We had scallops risotto and roasted chicken risotto, looked decent, but everything was bland and only seared one side (even the veggies don’t know why?). The risotto is way undercooked that crunchy raw rice we could chew it. The scallops were undercooked inside die to seared only one side, but costed $54…what a joke! Chicken was like half of a breast….nothing special…don’t waste money guys!

The food was great! The Crispy Eggplant was delicious! I’m not an eggplant fan, but I’d order this appetizer again. It took a while for our entree to get served. However, it was welcomed because we ate a lot of appetizers before our main meal. Oh, the Mac & Queso was AMAZING! I’ll definitely go back!

AMAZING! My family just discovered this place recently, and we absolutely love it.

ATMOSPHERE: Quaint, cute, and charming. It’s a small place with a lot of character, and being able to see the cooks do their thing in the kitchen is awesome.

SERVICE: Overall friendly. The two owners are total delights as well. What wonderful, personable people.

FOOD: So, so good. You MUST try the fried eggplant appetizer; it has a caprese twist, and is one of the best apps I’ve ever had anywhere. Beautiful scallops, delicious tiramisu, and more are in store for you when you visit this restaurant. I give it 8/10 as a whole. The reason it’s not a 10/10 for me yet is because, while the pork chop was cooked perfectly, it and its sides were all a bit over salted, and the potatoes on that dish were a little undercooked as well. That’s just some small feedback though, in case the owners ever see this review. Just trying to help with the feedback. 🙂 I am excited to try more!

Overall, this is a fantastic spot that I look forward to returning to many times in the future, and will be heavily recommending to others!

A mother/daughter duo have remodeled the old Black Trumpet and are busy cooking up delicious food to welcome guests to their”modern farmhouse”. It is a family affair and everyone is warm and welcoming and working hard to ensure you enjoy your time there. They have a fun selection of beer on tap and wine by the glass. The beet salad was amazing and I would definitely order it again. The Curry Shrimp were also delicious. The scallops in Scallop Provencal were cooked perfectly but the risotto was underwhelming. Overall, it was a great experience and we will definitely be returning soon.

Everything on their menu is fresh–farmfresh! Wonderfully thought out, their ever-changing menu offers dishes based on what fresh, local ingredients are available. The service is excellent as they are always attentive to all their customers. It restaurant is not big so the place could fill up quickly.

The food and service is excellent! I wasn’t sure what to expect since it is located in a strip mall, but once inside it is an upscale kind of place. I ordered scallop provencal. It is 4 scallops, but I ate one!
