After visiting the Iao Valley State Monument, we found this amazing Tagpuan food truck on our drive back! During our stay in Maui, we chose to try out many food trucks throughout the island. And I want to say this is one of the best ones. The location and eating area may not be the nicest, but clean enough. The service was also great, very friendly and helpful!

The food that we ordered are excellent in taste and good quantity for the price! We got the Grilled Pork Belly, Crispy Pork Belly, and a side of Sisig Dynamite Lumpia and they are all excellent! We recommend eating the Crispy Pork Belly and Dynamite Lumpia immediately on site otherwise they will lose their crispiness when taken back to the hotel.

We also tried the Halo Halo desserts and it tasted quite good, but not in the same quality level as other excellent Halo Halo we had in other Filipino restaurants. But this being a food truck, maybe not fair to compare against fully equipped restaurants.

Next time we visit this area, we will definitely come back!

everything was super good! good serving sizes, the pork belly was suuuper crispy but still tender, the lumpia were perfectly crispy & flavorful, and the halo halo was full of yummy toppings. 11/10 recommend after a hike!

My husband and I were looking for a Filipino place for lunch and found Tagpuan! Wonderful food and the lady working was very kind. The food took a while but I could tell it was made with lots of love! The food was fresh and hot and reminded me of my mom’s cooking. There was outdoor seating, some were shaded. If you’re ever in the area, check this place out!

The crispy pork belly was cooked so well! Crispy for the skin, soft and sticky for the fat, and tender for the meat. Highly recommend!

Of late, I enjoyed the most delicious chicken inasal I have ever tasted. It was superbly moist; its thick flavours reached down past the bones themselves. Despite just going through one mouthful after another, because each piece was a melted delight, together with their soy sauce combined with calamansi and hot pepper, it delivered an awesome tangy and spicy kick. In addition they provide chicken oil which when poured on hot rice makes your meal absolutely rich and delicious beyond measure.

But that is not all fuss about their chicken inasal either. Halo-halo is for people who love sweets a lot. Almost everything used in making it is homemade such as syrup-marinated bananas and smooth leche flan which are quite common. The heart of the halo-halo is made up of ube which gives it rich creamy sweetness that binds all items together.

For those who just want to munch something light during afternoon hours, there are available an array of tusok-tusok including fish balls kikiam and kwek kwek among others You can enjoy your drink with some of their sago and gulaman which are very refreshing they will help you feel relaxed This place does offer tropical type drinks like melon milk juice which is sweet creamy and invigorating kind of drink which everyone should try.

The generous servings and the well-balanced flavors keep me coming back for more. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful food with a range of delicious drinks and snacks to choose from, this is definitely a spot worth visiting over and over again.
