I have been coming here since they opened and today was the last time for me. I absolutely LOVE hot dogs and when I saw they opened here at my local Lowes I was ecstatic! My favorite dog is a chili cheese and have been getting them here from day one, but today I was craving a chili cheese dog and walked up and ordered and it seemed like I disturbed the next guy who’s been operating the stand, I say next guy because hes just one in a long lone who have been serving dogs since they opened, anyhow I told him I wanted a chili cheese dog and he pointed at the menu and barked “We don’t sell chili cheese dogs”, and I was confused because I have ALWAYS purchased a chili cheese dog from here. It doesn’t seem possible that a hot dog stand would stop selling chili cheese dogs because they’re a staple of the hot dog world but as he stated and seemed to be bothered that I asked, They Don’t Sell Chili Cheese Dogs there (anymore). Good luck with that.

On last Saturday at about 2PM, I walked to the order window and found a young man slouched in a chair, eyes closed. I cleared my throat to make a slight sound to indicate I was a customer.
His eyes opened, then closed again. There was no acknowledgement that I was there and that I might just be a paying customer. I asked “Are you open?”. His eyes opened again, and I only received a nod but no action to try to take my order. He did finally come to the window.
I wasn’t asked what I’d like to order, just a blank stare. I ordered the two hotdogs at that time. Eventually they were ready and each hotdog was handed to me one at a time without a word nor any acknowledgement. No “Thank you” from him at any time.
We spent over $14.00 on two hotdogs that we could get for $1.50 at Costco. At Costco they say “Thank you” as well. Needless to say, I won’t be back. I will say that the hot dogs were good, but it is the total lack of customer service and appreciation that will keep me away.
No response from the owner on this review after four weeks. Apparently this lack of service is “the usual” and they feel that no comment or apology is necessary. Oh well, as I said, I won’t be back.

Almost roadside hotdog stand vibes. Great selection of sausages, hot dogs, and brats with many toppings to choose from.
I ordered a brat with Seattle style toppings (cream cheese and sautéed onions). I added jalapeños to spice it up.
The service was quick and friendly. If you eat outside of here, you will leave smelling like a hot dog, but I can’t decide if that is a bad thing .

If you’re looking for that diamond in the rough restaurant, try Sizzle Dogs. As far as the food goes, the dogs are excellent. The service, is outstanding and the location is easy to find and easy to get to. In fact, it makes going to the Auburn Lowe’s worthwhile. Even though you won’t get any type of customer service from the Auburn Lowe’s or find anything you’re looking for there, at least you will get a great meal in their parking lot. Another nice touch is that all the dogs are loaded anyway you want without extra cost. I really can’t say enough good things about Sizzle Dogs. And even though I did take a star away in the atmosphere category, after all, it is located in the parking lot of Lowe’s no less, I still must give Sizzle Dogs an overall score rating of five stars.

I have been here numerous times over the years and even have met the owner. Some reason I have never written a review until now. The reason I am doing it now was foe poor service. Usually, they will toast the bun, actually every time I have been here they have toasted the bun. I got a Red hot with grilled onions, I notice he didn’t grill the bun and I called him on it, he at first said the onions were grilled. I said, ” no the bun”. He said he did a little. I did notice some grill mars on the outside of the bun, but when I recieved it, it was still cold to the touch and obviously not toasted one bit.
Nothing better then eating a hot dog with an cold bun, thanks, won’t eat there again with same employee..
Edit after reply: lol, It was cold to the touch, and the inside of the bun was not even toasted, along with the ouside, although it had grill marks. I am pretty sure I saw you take the bun out of the bag and open it up and put the dog onto the bun. As that is why I asked at first. Having marks does not make it toasted.
I never had any issues until today, and thats all it takes to loose a customer.

Oly Dog House has the best dogs! I love the toasted buns and all of the condiments. Travis, the owner is so friendly and accommodating! FYI- he also does private events all over Western Washington so it’s nice to see ODH at local events like Binford Car Shows, Tenino Oregon Trail Days, & I heard they will be at the Bluegrass Festival in Rainier on the 24th! Keep up the good work!!!
