Went in for a quick lunch, ordered the traditional tonkatsu ramen with a side of chicken karaage. Atmosphere was nice and clean, service was basically self-serve you order and pick up your food at the counter, food was just ok. Chicken karaage tasted like it was a little overcooked you get a little bit of crunch and it was kinda dry. I don’t recommend ordering it. The best part would probably be the ramen broth. Noodles perfectly cooked but wasn’t enough for me. So if your someone who enjoys eating noodle you might want to add an extra side order of it. The ramen toppings was just ok, I guess I was just expecting more flavor from it. The ramen broth was hands down the best part of my meal. Which was savory and full of flavor. Total came out to 25$. 16$ for the ramen and 9$ for the chicken.

We’ve tried the Botan Ramen and Bar before so was surprised to see another Botan Ramen around the area, but this time with Teriyaki. We decided to give it a try as it’s easier to get to and parking was also way easier. We got the Tonkatsu Ramen and Curry Chicken Katsu and they were both delicious!

In addition to the young guy heavily yawning he had an attitude taking our order. The amount of fried tofu in my ramen was plenty but was very greasy. It would be nice to have a whole egg cut instead of 1/2 as an option andnocharge for green onions. I think we will try location on Colby next time.

Great value and portion, popular restaurant, I went after 2pm, quite some orders to go, the ramen has more ingredients than most ramen restaurants, rice dishes are great, fried chicken (Karage) is big portion, sweet potato fries is delicious. The owner was very busy preparing the food, the only thing is you need to grab your dishes from the counter when they called you when it’s ready, which I don’t mind.

Delicious food. Nice portions. Friendly service. Wonderful! Cleaned atmosphere. Surprised I haven’t come here more often but I’ve been living up at Mount Baker but this is a nice place to come too when I’m down here in Everett will come back

The chicken yakisoba is excellent. Lots of vegetables cooked just right. The sauce was tasty and not overwhelming.
I do not recommend the spring rolls. They tasted like they were from the frozen aisle of the grocery store.
I was pleasantly surprised to receive this nice takeout bag.

wow! I am forcing myself to try food i’ve never had and O.M.G. this was the pick of a lifetime . I had the build your own ramen for 13.95, and the chicken karaage for 8.95. came out to $25 or so. The proportions wowwee. The pork in the ramen was flavorful and filling, the broth was like a really light soy sauce (In a good way) but they had tonnnns of other choices I was to afraid to try.
ASK FOR THIN, (T-ih-n) he hooked it up with free sauce and sauce from next door! highly highly recommend.

Came here looking for a good bite to eat after getting out of class and was BLOWN AWAY! As a vegetarian, I don’t often see variety or quality in the dishes restaurants provide, but here that isn’t a worry. There’s a vegetarian option in every dish category and all look equally delicious! I tried their tofu teriyaki today, and it is the best I have EVER had. The tofu was thick with a hearty batter and extremely crunchy! Most fried tofu I’ve been treated to is soggy, so Botan has raised my standards by a mile! Will be happy to be a repeat customer trying everything this adorable little restaurant has to offer!

I ordered a large chicken teriyaki, and overall the food was good, but I prefer a bit more char on my chicken.
My meal came with a large portion of chicken, two scoops of rice, and a salad with dressing.
There is also a self serve complementary hot tea and a bowl of miso soup, but the miso soup was tasteless so I would recommend passing on that.
The place seats about 30 people, and a rush of guests occurs around noon from the nearby colleges.
Not a homerun, but close and it is not bad for a quick teriyaki meal.

Wonderful tonkatsu ramen. One of the best I’ve ever had. I got the tonkatsu ramen combo with gyoza and it was amazing. Great deal, and the ramen broth was deep and rich with flavor, and a decent amount of noodles topped with a marinated egg, plenty of pork, green onion, and bamboo shoots. Super good!
