Cute little spot to shop, right in the Old Mill. Their sourdoughs are amazing. Dear Irene uses their bread too. I got an Onion Focaccia and that was absolutely delightful to eat. The staff was warm and friendly right off thee get go. I felt welcome and they even offered to slice my bread, a service i would not have known about, super helpful.

I will be making this a regular stop whenever I come into town.

Great bakery with delicious bread (try the sesame sourdough), delicious avocado toast, and solid coffee. Pastries are high-quality and fresh, and the staff is always friendly.

My only wish is that they offered a way to warm up pastries — a toaster oven would make such a difference! Still, a lovely local spot I love supporting!

Some girls want jewelry, but all I need is a bag of bread and pastries from M’s Bakery. I would honestly make the 6 hour round trip drive from my home just to keep this sourdough bread stocked in my pantry. I also had a watermelon salad and made noises similar to Bill Murray at the dinner table scene in What About Bob. Every bite was magic. Will be back and can’t wait!!

I own a dog training business in town and showed up to meet a friend with the German Shepherd I’ve been working with. We sat outside and enjoyed the egg breakfast sandwich! YUMMM I’m from Napa, Ca and a true FOODIE! Most places are boring and disappointing and lack flavor and good quality food~ but not this place! The bun was so soft and fresh and the pickled radishes with the sprouts really surprised my palate! Sooo goood! Wasn’t able to try any pastries but I will definitely be back and I will now use this location for more of my training pups! Maybe get an outdoor heater for those guests who have to sit outside. 10/10!

I’ve really tried to love M’s Bakery in Bend, because the location is great and the vibe pulls you in, but after several visits I just can’t get behind it. Everything feels overpriced for what you actually get.
This cinnamon roll was $6 and…it just wasn’t worth it. Not big, not especially delicious, not beautifully presented, just very average. And that’s been the pattern with everything I’ve tried here, from the breakfast sandwiches to the pastries.
If the prices were more in line with somewhere like Safeway, I’d be a lot more forgiving. But at this price point, the quality should really deliver and it just doesn’t.
At this point, I think this place is better left to tourists. I’ve given it multiple chances, but it’s consistently disappointing.

The food is fantastic, I would recommend the avocado toast. They were out of cinnamon rolls but when we were there earlier they looked amazing. They have a lot of tasty looking sandwiches. Seating can be a challenge and the ordering area can be pretty chaotic when they are busy but the service is friendly and it’s very clean.

THEY HAVE YUMMY GLUTEN FREE BREAD. I was absolutely delighted to discover they bake a GF loaf. The crumb is beautiful and the flavor is excellent. If you are a GF baker, you know how rare that is. I’m not celiac so I can’t speak if it’s celiac safe or not. I am gluten sensitive and have been fine with their GF loaf. If you are in the same dietary boat, check them out! Their loaf will save you so much time and frustration in the kitchen.

Ms is a special place. The staff is friendly and all seem genuinely happy at work. The owners are community minded and seem really sweet from the brief interactions I’ve had with them. I love popping in with my family every so often and enjoying carbs and drinks together.

I brought their classic sourdough loaf to family Thanksgiving in Portland and a relative has been asking us to bring two loafs every time we visit – one to enjoy now and another he can freeze and pull out whenever he has a hankering for good sourdough.

TL;DR – go check them out

I am in love with this bakery!
Not only is this space a beautiful place to connect with friends, the offered menu items do not disappoint. I have dietary restrictions and I love that they have a variety of items that I can choose from. The Blueberry muffin is the best muffin I’ve ever had! I love their coffee and the staff is always so friendly and kind! If I could give 11 stars I would! As a Bend Native, I really appreciate having a place like this in the Old Mill.

Best pastries in town! I dream about the chocolate croissants and love all their seasonal pastries. Can’t wait to try the new pistachio one.

Their bread is delicious and made with high quality ingredients and I LOVE their avocado toast.

So needed in the Old Mill! Happy to see this business thriving.
