Took over one hour to get the order. Gen.TSO chicken was below average, Shrimp and Scallops in garlic sauce was above average. Unfortunately the fried Wonton and boneless spare ribs sucked and yet the biggest rip off was what they were trying to pass as an egg roll. Definitely a one and done order

unsure of the location. I ordered food through doordash.
I moved to Pitman in April 2025 and have been looking for a decent Chinese restaurant. October 2025, I finally found one.

First I’ll say the Gen. Tso is delicious, perfectly crispy with a kick. The fried rice isn’t seasoned and doesn’t have that fried wok texture. I also ordered black pepper chicken. It wasn’t bad but also isn’t what I would consider black pepper chicken, more like chicken with bell peppers and onions. Also after confirming twice I was still brought the wrong soup.

We’ve been ordering from this Chinese spot for years. The food slaps. The employees are so friendly! Everything is clean, not greasy, extremely flavorful.

We thought we would try a new Chinese restaurant, so we chose East Lake because of the reviews. Well, I ordered vegetable dumplings- they were horrible, so doughy that I normally don’t throw out food, but I ate two and discarded the rest.
My husband had wonton soup , and they were very doughy.
In addition, we ordered Moo Shu pork and tripe delight. It was just okay. We will not be returning and will go back to our other Chinese restaurant, which is so much better!

Hands down the best Chinese takeout in the area! The food is always fresh, big portions and great prices. Their General Tsos tofu is a must-try even if you aren’t vegetarian.

Finally, we found a decent spot for Chinese food in the area. It was prepared the right way and delicious. The added bonus is that the staff were really friendly. My family loved it!

The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the food did arrive hot when it was delivered! But their appetizers are terrible! The wonton soup, fried wontons, egg rolls, shrimp rolls and crab rangoons! I don’t know how they’re still in business??? The crab rangoons were “empty” with no cheese, the fried wontons were so awful I had to throw them away, the wonton soup tasted terrible, the egg rolls were greasy and horrible and the shrimp rolls were greasy, horrible and there wasn’t any shrimp inside and the one shrimp that I did find inside was “tiny”! Even the noodles for the wonton soup were greasy and tasted funny! I spent $140.00 and they hardly gave me any sauces and they didn’t give me “any” fortune cookies! I’m shocked at how many good reviews they got! I do not recommend this place “at all”!!! All the meals I ordered were just “ok”:
1.) Shrimp LoMein
2.) Chicken LoMein
3.) Shrimp With Lobster Sauce
4.) Walnut Shrimp
5.) General Tso Shrimp

The employee named MR. ALLEN WAS EXTREMELY RUDE AND GAVE ME A SERIOUS ATTITUDE TOWARDS ME. He focused more on his phone than the actual order itself. He has a bad haircut, mutters all the time and rolls his eyes at me!
