Quiet, clean place for some good Thai cuisine. We love the spicy fried chicken and cat fish options. Usually not many people during dinner time. Very happy with the service as well. He is polite and friendly.

Great food, made just the way you like, as long as you’re very specific on what you want and what you don’t. A wide range of dishes, including some you wouldn’t expect to find at a Thai place, such as sushi. Not bad, if a bit out of place. Portions are fairly generous, and will be as spicey as you can stomach.

Great food and excellent service. The curries were all made to order, with special attention to our spice and dietary requests. There was plenty of fragrant rice to accompany them, and our drinks were refreshed frequently. We also enjoyed Thai Oced Tea and green tea ice cream for dessert (if you haven’t tried it, do!).

Food is very good. There is another Thai place near my house but I drive to this place because the quality of the food is better (especially for the price). I usually get pickup but they were pretty packed on Saturday. It’s my brother and mine’s favorite Asian place now!
The only complain I have is parking.

I’ve only been to Baan Thai for takeout because of its convenience to where I work, but I don’t think I’d come here for a date or with a group of friends. The restaurant isn’t very large, and the atmosphere looks to me as if they do a fair amount of takeout. The food and prices are pretty average and the staff in the back of the restaurant that handle take outs are friendly. The food is just average, although the chicken satey appetizer is nicely done. TIP – if you are a Bentley student and show your college ID you will get a 10% discount.

I ordered from Baan Thai and the customer service was horrid. I’ve never experienced such an unprofessional approach from a restaurant, let alone the very owner!
I placed an order via phone call and explained IN DETAIL where my home was located. I’ve had delivery from here before – the food is all right, I prefer better, but Baan Thai is local and delivers, so… So they know where I live. After waiting for an hour and a half, I called the restaurant and the person who picked up told me he was the owner and he was the one delivering earlier and he couldn’t find my place.
The other delivery men from Baan Thai have found my home, no problem. I don’t understand what the problem was. Right off, he was rude on the phone, swearing at me.
This is unacceptable behavior toward a paying, loyal customer.
NOT eating there ever again.

I’ve been to Baan Thai twice. It’s nowhere near my neighborhood, but it’s my go-to when in Waltham. It’s quiet and comfortable, and parking is easy.
The sushi is really wonderful. Fresh, well crafted, with lots of variety. The servers are polite. I wish it was closer to home!

Food is fresh, hot, and tasty, plus good prices, nice wine list, and excellent service. We ate Star of Siam, which was presented in a foil swan, apple salad, treasure bags, and the classic pad Thai. All were excellent and we had a great time here at a great price.

As a Thai food lover who tried 20+ restaurants, I can say this one is terrible and has nothing to do with authentic Thai foods. The pad thai was greasy, the so-called *mango curry with chicken* only had two very, very tiny pieces of chicken in it. The foods including the pork, the grilled duck and the curry were sickeningly sweet. Moreover, the service is worst. The old owner had a long face, and I saw him yelling at the customers with very high voice, only because they didn’t stand at the front door to get his *approval* to come in. I see why this restaurant doesn’t has many customers even at dinner time.
