The flavor in the sauce and the crispness of the crust while also remaining soft, my god it’s amazing. This place makes New York pizza seem way below average (especially recently). Anyways greatest pizza in Cleveland right now by far! Edit:(Now has beef pepperoni so just made this place even better!)

This is the best pizza in the Cleveland area, hands down. The Margarita and the White pies are amazingly delicious. The crust is thin and crispy, all around perfect pizza. He has a phone and takes credit cards, despite Google AI’s overview of this fantastic establishment. I highly recommend you try this place.

I’ve never written a Google review so fast in my life and really rarely write them at all.
I had the pleasure of stopping in today and meeting Pete. He runs and works at the barber shop a couple doors down. He still considers himself learning about what he makes, this he is still changing the menu often.
He offered to make me his favorite pie. It was absolutely incredible. White sauce, sourdough base crust, bacon, basil, balsamic glaze, extremely flavorful cheese, and a wonderful crunch.
One of the best pies I’ve ever had. I’ve had A LOT, near and far. Make sure to eat it hot like it deserves.
Seriously, don’t skip this one. It’s so good.

Great pies. Light and crispy crust with a perfect undercarriage. Had the pepperoni and the white pizza with balsamic glaze. I’m positive you couldn’t go wrong with the whole menu.
The owner Pete is a very cool guy, you can tell he actually puts effort into his craft to make a great product. Would recommend to anyone looking for an authentic pizza.

Easily the most well-crafted pizza you can get in the greater Cleveland area. The place is owned by a man who runs the place in his spare time to fulfill his obsession with making the perfect pizza. This is why the hours are a bit strange and also why it is cash & takeout only.
To Pete: Your passion reminds of my late grandfather who put his heart and soul into running an Italian food truck with his wife. I can see that very same passion in your cooking. I wish you continued success!

You’ve seen the Facebook reviews! You’ve heard the buzz the rumors! You’ve talked to people who have tried and raved!! Get off your butt and get in line!
Absolutely amazing pizza done with passion, intent and true skill that only comes from a master of their craft. Upon entering the small, clean and purposeful shop the aroma of fresh ingredients and flour dusted surfaces will have you under its spell. It’s obvious the place means business. Options for pizza toppings are not as limited as the hours but after the first bite you will be a believer. Conversations with the owner/Pizzolo while we waited and preformed his dough magic transported us right to the city of Naples. His knowledge and stories made our 15 minute wait seem like an only a few seconds. Not being able to decide we ended up getting two pies and we’re glad we did! Crisp thin crusts with those dark “leopard spots”, perfectly balanced sauce and low moisture cheese ratio with just the right amount of toppings including basil picked fresh from the plant. This type of pizza might not be for everyone but it’s definitely a contender for Cleveland’s best. Very demure, very mindful.

We checked out Uciuni last night for the start of a 2026 Cleveland Pizza tour. We are self described pizza connoisseurs, and had no notes on the Margherita we tried. The crust, sauce and cheese were all on point. Plus Pietro was a delight, and obviously takes his craft seriously. Its a strong start to our pizza quest, and we will definitely be back.

Best hole in the wall spot ever! So glad that I found this place online reading a Cleveland Scene article. The ingredients are so fresh. The owner has a true passion for making pizza and has only been making them for a little over a year. He even said on days the dough isn’t right, he closes up the shop. I will certainly be back!

Today we tried Pizzeria Uciuni in Old Brooklyn. The Gio’s Special Pizza with 4-cheeses and pepperoni was very good. The crust, which is New York style thin crust, was salty, toothy and very good. I much preferred the Gio’s Special to the Margherita. This pizza place is pricier than we normally get and there are a few little oddities. It is cash only, you order in person and it is strictly takeout. From order to carry out it was 15-minutes. This was a really nice change of pace from our normal pizza fare.

I really wanted to like this place, but the crust is subpar. It’s firm and crispy, but no rise or air to it at all. It almost seems like it’s a frozen dough disk. At the very least it needs to proof more. Small carryout only spot with very limited hours. Only open Fri-Monday for dinner.
