Food was good – not great but good. Service was awesome. Our waitress was the best. The mojito was watered down and barely tasted like one. Sushi was good but for the price we’ve had better. Teriyaki chicken was okay.

Took my kids here for their Birthday and they had the BEST time! The Chef put on a great show for them and was very interactive. The food was amazing, even my picky eaters ate a bit of everything. My favorites were the shrimp and garlic fried rice. At the end they brought the kids huge sundaes.

Today we celebrated my Hubbys 46th birthday and received excellent service. The filet mignon teriyaki steak was so tender and absolutely delicious. My hubby enjoyed the ceviche rolls and the jalapeno poppers where great with a spicy kick. I love the fact that it’s imitation crab which has such wonderful flavor!

Domo is a beautiful restaurant with high ceilings in Lincoln Center, Stockton, California. Nice ambiance. I didn’t see any booths, just hard wooden chairs.
I came with my family, a party of 4. Although the restaurant was near empty after 5PM on a weekday, it took 10 minutes for us to be seated. We were about to walk out when the hostess finally seated us. A relative and I ordered beef teriyaki medium rare and both plates came out medium well. We didn’t bring it to the attention of the server because she didn’t stop by the table to check on us until we were halfway done with our entrees. She was waiting on a table directly across from us, but would turn away in an opposite direction so our table couldn’t reach her. When she did this a second time, my cousin flagged her down. Like I wrote earlier, the restaurant wasn’t busy during the early evening. Another relative found the chicken teriyaki to be dry. Umibido which are referred to as sea grapes are just seaweed.
Portions were small and the pricing high even with the happy hour discount. The teriyaki plates were $28. A similar dish would be $18 in high-priced Boston. Maybe Lincoln Center charges higher rents than downtown Boston.
One of my relatives ordered the ramen and it didn’t taste good to him. It is possible the chef had an off day. Sauces and food presentation were lovely.
We ordered the DSS roll which is supposed to be a special roll with salmon eggs, salmon skin, avocado. Do you see salmon eggs in my photo? I don’t. I see tobiko eggs. I just noticed this while writing this review because I looked up the description. The cost was $24.25. We were very confused because the actual seafood parts were minuscule, the roll itself was small and came with a substantial pile of salad greens as if the restaurant knew the roll was small and wanted to give value to the dish. I may report this restaurant to an agency that oversees them.
The bill came out to be nearly $150 before tip and that is after the Happy Hour (HH discount) which was 15%. We were pleasantly surprised by the discount.

So Disappointed with the lack of providing a proper amount of sushi. I added pictures of 4 different roles purchased. Look closely, you can see the tiniest of pieces on top of only every other slice. Is all my life, I have never seen such a lack of “Sushi” fish on a roll. Just sad! The chief’s were great. The staff were great. Everyone was was suffering in the extreme heat in this place. They should not have been open. It was hotter inside the restaurant than it was outside! Cost cutting has gone too far here. I feel bad for the folks working there.

This has always been our favorite spot to celebrate birthdays! While the quality of the food can vary depending on who’s cooking at your table, even the less impressive meals are still delicious. One downside, though, is sharing a table with families who split a single meal between two or even three people. Since portions are evenly distributed, it can mean smaller servings for everyone else at the table, which can be a bit disappointing.

Good food and decent service. I think our server may have been new or sick. Or maybe both. Series was a little slow and we didn’t get some sauces we asked for drinks but assuming he was new it was a good visit. Will be back.

At Domos, they normally have an hour break in the afternoon. I came in after their break and they were super nice and welcomed me. I really enjoyed the Food. The King Kong roll is super delicious! I had the sesame chicken with rice and salad, and it filled me up. It was just enough. 🙂 The waitress was super helpful and kind. I appreciate the wonderful customer service.
