My husband and I visited this hotel for one night. The pool bar was great! Shady area for hanging at the bar or doing a “grab and go” at the pool. Service has been top notch, offering to bring our food poolside when it was ready – which was always really quick. GREAT Cobb salad (pictured) with ripe avocado, egg, and cherry tomatoes. We will definitely come here again!

I was extremely happy with this bar/restaurant. We ordered drinks that were very tasty and made correctly all day long as well as lunch. We ordered the hummus, fish tacos, chicken sandwich and food for our kids and everything was delicious. The bartender was very friendly also.

Pictures on past reviews of items are not accurate. There menu is down to about 9 items total. Absolutely horrible selection, especially since it is the only game at the hotel for lunch. They seem like they don’t care about the guests at all…”it is what it is” I was told. “We are your only choice and if you don’t like it…leave!” Wonderful answer to my question “do you by chance have another menu? This one doesn’t seem to have as many choices as I saw online?” This was after waiting 37 minutes for her to come to our table, there were 3 other tables occupied and they already had their food. We ordered a pizza and it was just simply ok. Ordered the burger and a chicken sandwich and both were miserable. We ordered water because we don’t drink pop and she said “cheap skate!” As she was walking away!! Literally one of the worst waitresses I’ve seen in over a dozen years. Someone with an ounce of restaurant/hospitality experience should lease this location and could make a killin!

Pool and the surrounding areas including the barctoo crowded and under staffed. Small pool for the size of this hotel, it should be doubled the size or add another pool area. We stayed there for 4 nights, pool was always packed. Drinks and food overpriced for the quality, not surprised for hotel prices. They should work on their menu. Not too appealing for small children. But overall we did have a pleasant time, hotel was excellent, rooms are spacious, clean, staff was pleasant. Will definitely recommend it.

Absolutely delicious food right at the pool. Great place to hang out and just relax. We had relatives in town staying here at the Renaissance and we spent the day with them here at the pool and there was no need to go anywhere else for food as they completely had us covered.
