Recently moved to the Canyon Motel, most of the photos are from the former building.
Completely different menu. We had tried both their pizza and sub sandwiches. The pizza was great, generous toppings and cooked just right. Price is appropriate. Limited choices for subs but they’re not Subway. Since we’re in Hot Sulphur Springs hot pizza minutes away is awesome. These folks have had a lot of challenges here and have stayed the course. You’re greatly appreciated

Deeeelicious noodle bowls. Rice noodles with all veggies and chicken was very tasty & filling. Mango habenero sauce and garlic parmesan sauce were both outstanding. Service 10/10. Don’t forget to ask about the chinchillas.

I cannot recommend this enough. Jim was perfect. Great attitude, and a pleasure to hang with. He really brought out a turnkey operation for us. We had 2 adults, and 4 kids, and we had a great time we only caught 4 fish, but we had lots of nibbles… Other people on the lake caught zero… So clearly, Jim knows the good spots. He clearly has a passion for fishing, and it was infectious.
After, we were served a lovely lunch in their quaint diner with a rustic vibe. There are some pet chinchillas, which were cool for the kids to observe and try to touch.
Our 4 fish were filleted and given to us on ice, so we could cook them for dinner.
I think this was a very inexpensive package, and I happily tipped well (I think), and I would recommend to anybody that they should hire this outfit. By the way- My pictures don’t show the “shanty” that was built… but it was there- and was plenty warm inside. The weather was so good- that we didn’t use it much. Also- the electric fish sonar gadget that Jim brought out was great. It really changes the fishing experience.

We came in just before closing, but they welcomed us in anyway. Very friendly people! They had a great dinner special, although I didn’t order it. My wife and I both had their fish and chips. It was delicious! I also had a cup of their green chili, that was incredible! The prices were very reasonable. Well worth the drive from Kremmling.

We visited twice for breakfast during our stay, the first visit was fantastic the second left a bit to be desired. It’s a charming little restaurant with good home cooked, hearty food, although it was a little greasy. We left full both mornings. The service the first morning was outstanding but the next day the waitress was short with us from the moment we walked in. She didn’t want to break a $20 so that we could leave her a decent tip.

Great food and cozy atmosphere! I had the tacos for lunch. Yummy! We went back for dinner and had the grilled shrimp. I’ve never had so many shrimp on a plate! They were cooked perfectly! Very friendly staff. A true gem!

Awesome prices and delicious. 8oz Sirloin was grilled and seasoned perfectly, got a dozen mussels and steak fries on the side. There were many side options available. Only cost $15!!! This would have easily cost $35 or more where I am from. Food came out very quickly, wait staff was very nice. Family run business!

Went in for a late lunch today. The staff was super friendly and brought my boys slushies right off the bat! They were pumped! The food was SO good!! I had the Tortilla Burger and it was like heaven. Haha! They also have great green Chile, I was very surprised! Also my kids loved the atmosphere here. Everyone else really enjoyed their food too. Next visit up there, we’ll definitely be back!!

I showed up today for some extra tackle for a fishing trip and noticed it was an awesome restaurant too! I saw one customer who literally was in love with the place which I can see why; it’s family owned, the owners are extremely nice and very welcoming. He helped me and my buddy with fishing tips and with what the right lures to use would be. I have literally made plans to drive 3 hours from my home just to return there! They made a great day awesome!

We had a great time and caught a LOT of fish – 29. We caught these in the first 2 hours and spent the last 2 hours fishing for the “big one”. Didn’t catch it, but still had a great time.
I would highly recommend Rocky Mountain Outfitters. We would have had very little luck without their expertise. They put us on the fish in the first hour and we had a great time.
BTW, the food at their Bait Shop is very good. It’s included in the price, but they don’t advertise it – although they should.
