This is a brunch review. First of all, the service we got here was fantastic. We were greeted right when we came to the bar, and both manager (I assume) and bartender were great throughout our visit. Roy and Scott were extremely efficient. We really love this spot, and we have been to the location through a couple iterations of different restaurants. We hope this one sticks. It has a great inside/outside bar setup that is slick. I had the Wagyu burger and wife had the steak and eggs, and we got a mimosa flight for drinks. I believe we were at their very first brunch opening, and I know they are still figuring stuff out. The food was solid, although I think just a couple bucks over-priced. That being said, we look forward to coming back to try some more things. I definitely recommend.

Dinner review. Restaurant Week visit (in case you want to take advantage of one of these dishes that are NOT on the typical menu). We missed their happy hour (know that it is until 5pm) but we will come back, as it looked like it had a few good deals. Plus, I love their bar seating area. For summer months, they have an open-air side of it. Maddie was our server. She was very efficient and was handling a lot of tables by the time we left. It was relatively seamless, as she had help bringing stuff to the tables. Choices. I got the lobster bisque. It was very good, and a not on the menu item. If you get it, know that it is very pepper-y. Still solid, although I would do the burrata on a redo. The pesto pasta entree was immaculate and also not a typical menu item. Incredible in taste, and I topped it off with their house-made hot sauce (also immaculate). On a redo, I still get the pasta. It was awesome. Our entire table got the brownie. It was very good and basic. We sat by the door, and I do wish they had some type of curtain or blockade of some kind to hinder the cold air from coming in. Overall, solid place, and we will be back to try and get this rating up to a 5. They just redid their brunch menu too, so anxious to try that. The atmosphere is stellar. Definitely recommend, and see you there.

This is a trust me review:

I was recommended Rooted by long time locals of Denver. As someone traveling to Denver for a short time you must be selective of where you eat and spend your time and $$. Rooted is a restaurant we were told by many that is well worth the stop; both the drink and food was renowned. From the minute we sat Savannah was existential in her hospitality and charm. Not only was she amazing in the conversation and helping provide insight into the menu but she also was amazing in setting the tone for the entirety of the meal; an experience. The food was amazing. Truly an experience. It is most certainly a place you will undoubtably think; I had an amazing meal. I compare many places to the food I grew up around, in NYC. Not only will this restaurant continue to display fine dining in a humble yet eclectic atmosphere but the workers will continue to display how hospitality is truly meant to be. This is an amazing restaurant.

If you want great food, drinks, and people, dine here.

We were in town for a concert at the beautiful Red Rocks Amphitheater and decided to meet up with an old high school friend. His wife suggested this restaurant and we could see why right away. The restaurant itself is beautiful and clean with an upscale but homey vibe. The staff was attentive and so pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The owner came right over and greeted us and we felt incredibly welcome in the environment. The food is the highlight here though. We tried a lot! The pancakes were so light and fluffy and the French toast was delectable with black berries and both sweet dishes were served with syrups that won’t disappoint you. My favorite of the brunch was the chicken waffle. Chicken was hearty, crispy on the outside and juicy inside, paired with hot honey and compressed melon mint. Amazing! We topped it off with a great Bloody Mary and I’m picky about those. Prices were very reasonable for the quality you’re getting. HIGHLY recommend Rooted Craft. Great little neighborhood too!

Okay so I am a biiiiiiig French fry person. The minute the chicken sandwich was placed in front of me, I was excited. Best French fries in all the land. Service was amazing, drinks were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed. I could’ve sat at the bar all day. Very excited to have rooted into the neighborhood!

Totally forgot to take pictures of our drinks/meal but here is the perfect French fry.

Ok, wow! Came to try this place for lunch today and was blown away by the fantastic service and overall ambiance.

First off, we were greeted right away and they were super accommodating.

Next, they have an amazing lunch menu for friends. The price for the quantity and quality of food is awesome.

The dry rub wings were in point: crispy, full of flavor, and not overly salty ( which is what wings usually taste like to me).

The fish and chips were outstanding! I mean, just look at the photo!!! The fish was fresh, crispy, and flaky. The French fries were crispy and super flavorful.

Bravo! We will definitely be back. It’s good to see small business be successful from hard work and the right staff. You did it right!

Had a great meal here! They were extremely busy, and our server missed a couple of details with our order. But the manager gave me an extra burger to go, so no worries!

Love the location, the food, and the atmosphere.

**Update.. the second time we went it was underwhelming. Okay food and service.

Amazing food and service. All staff are super cool! Had the cheese and meat board, oysters and a spritz. The vibe is perfect and the outside seating is the best in the neighborhood! Very cool outside bar too!

I had to share our second meal experience here as it wasn’t great. Our waitress missed my son’s (3) meal off the order which created problems. My hamburger was cold and I have to say the burger patty was lacking. For a gourmet burger it was very below average. Fries were cold. Wife’s greens were not seasoned along side of her sandwich. I know Rooted is new so I hope they work out the kinks.

The space was trendy. The menu is limited, which I like. The menu options looked good but I don’t think the execution was great.

As a table we got the hot honey sandwich, the wagyu burger and the farro risotto, and the lemon sorbet.

The hot honey sandwich was fine. The wagyu burger was fine. The fries were good. The farro risotto was good. The lemon sorbet was also good but a a little icy. It was wonderfully tart.

I would go back if someone invited me but it wouldn’t be my choice. I also wouldn’t wait in line for a table, as it’s first come first served (no reservations).

We had a lovely experience. The food was tasty, the service was good as was the atmosphere. It looks like it would be a super fun place to dine in the summer. There were two large garage style doors that open a large part of the restaurant to the outdoors.
The roasted beets were delicious. We all loved the spiced sauce, and my ricotta and arugula burger was also delicious. The ricotta was seasoned beautifully.
Overall would definitely recommend.
