As a follower of Dave Portnoy, I felt it was essential to try New Haven-style pizza. Being from Chicago, I know this style of pizza is in tough competition. I arrived shortly after the doors opened and immediately noticed the large coal-fired oven, which, unfortunately, didn’t seem to be operational. Instead, they were using a conveyor-style oven.
As soon as my pie was ready, I dove in. The crust was well-cooked, and the undercarriage was also done to perfection. With the first bite, I experienced a sudden zap of heat to the roof of my mouth. The crust’s crispy texture was a delightful surprise, and the flavor profile was solid, as one would expect from a plain cheese pizza. I couldn’t help but wonder: would the coal-fired oven have made this even better?

If you’ve ever eaten at Pepe‘s in Connecticut, you’ll understand this pizza place. Pizza is perfect thin crust and cooked to perfection. I had buffalo chicken pizza which I rate as a 10. The place only has four tables so carry out is their big business. We were able to sit down and enjoy our pizza.
The staff is incredibly attentive.

This is a great, hidden spot that will no doubt blow up as people discover Ah-Beetz’ airy, crispy crust pizza with fresh New Haven ingredients and warm service! It’s an easy choice for pizza cravings, definitely recommend calling ahead if you can because New Haven style pizza bakes for quite a while in the oven to get the crispness just right ✅️

I have only arranged pick up, from both Northwood and now more recently North Palm. Several pizzas later, Ah Beetz is. My go-to (if I am not in New Haven at Pepe’s!)
Counter staff could not be more hospitable or more efficient. Why do other places not follow the Ah Beetz model.

While working on a project in the area, I stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. The staff was friendly from the moment I walked in and made ordering easy. The pizza was hot, fresh, delicious and very satisfying, especially after a long morning of work.
The place was clean, the service was fast, and everything felt well run. It’s a solid spot for contractors or anyone looking for a good meal without the wait. I’d absolutely come back when I’m in the area again.

This is honestly the best pizza I have ever had. The crust, the sauce, the toppings, everything was perfect. It is one of those pizzas you keep thinking about because it was that good. You can tell they use fresh ingredients and actually care about what they make.
The staff is also so nice. Everyone was welcoming and super friendly and it made the whole experience even better. It is rare to find a place with amazing food and genuinely good people at the same time.
I am already craving it again.

I’ve been to 3 Ah-Beetz locations and this one is my favorite! Staff is amazing. Thankfully, it is also the location closest to my house. This is the best pizza I’ve had in South Florida. Our typical take-out order consists of apizza, wings & a salad. They’ve recently expanded hours and added some grinders among other things to the menu that I’m looking forward to trying
