This place was amazing! The food and drink were fantastic and they were very kind to me as I was passing through. Spent a couple hours working remotely from the front patio and had a day to remember. Thanks to all!

Edit #3: To the “tired business owner” who took the time to reply: thank you for your reply as well. But a couple things to clarify: I didn’t degrade staff, just called out the rude barista who is a representative of your cafe and is truly the one who set the tone of this review. Second, I’ll admit if I’m misinformed about baking recipes. I may be wrong on the icing analysis, but the extremely sweet icing tastes very very similar to powdered sugar and water in my experience. Google “cranberry bliss bar” and all recipes that appear say “Starbucks copycat”. Yours is not a copycat. Again, I’ll admit when I’m wrong, specifically about panini bread not existing. My assertion comes from the common perception (or I guess misperception) as you see in the screenshot I uploaded for panini bread recipes. Lastly, you fired back on the small business support and said I’m tearing you down? Your reviews say otherwise. Anyone in business knows you can’t please everyone, and sometimes business have bad days; maybe like the barista that day? I just happened to be there on that bad day and this review was met with rebuttle, not solutions.

Listen, I wish you the best and my reviews are to inform consumers who are spending hard earned money and push businesses to be better. Because it’s the consumer who keeps your doors open.

Edit #2: Business corrected my name in reply after posting the below edit.

Original Review:

Been really looking forward to trying this place since it seems every time I am in town, it’s after business hours. I was finally in town on time and stopped in.

The visual appeal is great, warm and welcoming. Very clean and looks like a great place to have a morning coffee or lunch. We ordered a couple panini sandwiches and a iced tea and an iced coffee. The deserts looked amazing so we ordered a “cranberry bliss bar” and a cinnamon roll.

Then the disappointment set in. The iced coffee was a bit strong, which is of no complaint. However, when asked if we could get a bit of creamer, you would have thought we gave the barista the biggest insult in her life with the attitude that she returned with the request with.

Next were the panini’s. I question if panini bread was used. It looked to us that regular white bread was used on a generic panini grill you get at JCPENNEY. And for what we paid, barely any filling to the sandwichs. Ate more bread than filling.

I’ll support local any day over corporate…but this place embarrasses the cranberry bliss bar name from corporate Starbucks and frankly wasn’t very good. Very caky and the icing on both that and the cinnamon roll was lazy. It was obvious that it was just powdered sugar and water and you could nearly feel the sugar giving you a cavity.

It has a lot of potential, just needs some fine tuning. In a tough economy, you got to step up your A game for a consumer to spend that hard earned money..and let’s be honest, everyone is working overtime and underpaid in this local area.

Great tasting high quality and nutritious foods. Their breakfast burritos are amazing and they have great high protein options, pastries and sweet treats.
Average pricing, friendly service and welcoming small town environment.

Will definitely be visiting here whenever I’m nearby.

I hadn’t been to Dragonfly on a Saturday in months. I forgot how good the peanut butter twists are. They are so rich and fluffy! And if you’re a latte lover, Sarah made my latte perfect!

Having been a loyal customer of Dragonfly for many years, even prior to its move to the current location, which now houses a pizza establishment, I can attest to the truly exceptional quality of their baked goods. I am also fond of the owner, who is always so welcoming and friendly.
