B&I Eatery is a family owned restaurant just off the interstate. The food was sooo good!! Best catfish and grits I ever had…husbands Philly cheesesteak was piled high!! The service was very attentive and friendly!! FYI… It is an older neighborhood…We will definitely go back the next time we are in St. Louis!!

Had a late lunch on taco Tuesday and it was excellent! We were down from Wisconsin for work, visiting a large steel fabrication company and this place was close by. I couldn’t believe how small the bill was!! It has wall to wall tv’s, probably great for sporting events or something. Nice people, very friendly. Did I mention the food was excellent?!!

Omg! Oh my goodness, people I believe we found soul food on Sunday for real. I was so shocked and surprised I never thought soul food was hitting so hard outer this place!! The food is hands down. I have done many restaurants in the St. Louis area for Soul Food, and B&I Eatery is top! When I tell you everything was good. Mac/ Chesse and the mix greens and sweet potatoes omg! Dressing the oxtails! Pork chop was all soul heaven sent! Now, there is a wait time we waited about 30 mins but it was well worth the time!!

The customer service was OK. I just didn’t like the food that was horrible. Sweet potato had too much nutmeg. The dressing was just horrible. The cabbage was horrible. The cornbread was good. I would never go back there ever.

I was giving an old menu. And I order off the old menu. When I paid for my food to go.. I looked at my receipt and see the side I ordered was 7.25 when the menu I was giving said sides were 3.99.. I let someone know and he pulled up a new menu and said that’s the old menu but mind you the lady who greeted me gave me the menu I ordered from.. I don’t care about a few dollars.. but don’t false advertise and get mad when it’s questioned.

Food was everything! We orders oxtails. Sweet potatoes, Mac & cheese, and greens! This is literally the best soul food I’ve had in St. Louis. It tastes like family homemade food. The air was out but they cooled it down with fans. It’s more of lounge vibe than diner.
