Chicken and Teriyaki Hood River: May 2023 –
Reviews
However, as a non-native to the area, I couldn’t help but ne shocked at the bill as I went to pay. MY GOD……… is it really this expensive to eat a piece of chicken, a couple noodles, and a damn springroll?
If you lower your prices, you will be the busiest spot in the valley.
Thank me later….
…..You’re welcome.
Peace out.
I am a Hood River Valley resident and pass by here often but finally took the time to stop in. I’m glad that I did. There is something about a Mexican restaurant with Japanese items on the menu that tickles me. Part of why I’m glad to be American, our mixing pot of a country. It’s a beautiful thing.
I ordered their titular chicken teriyaki (see photo) and it did not disappoint. Flavorful, tender, and juicy. The thin cut chicken had obviously been grilled up freshly. It was very nice. The rice and steamed veg that came with were ok. I would have liked a bit of flavor on them too. Pretty bland. The spring roll that came with it was very greasy, even considering it was deep fried. As in it was dripping with fryer grease. The flavor wasn’t bad though.
I’d give my meal four and a half stars if half stars were possible but considering the friendly service and fair prices I’m comfortable leaning more towards five. I intend to return someday and try their Mexican cuisine.
Little did you know you were accommodating a foodie.
Hood has no idea how good they have it. All of Utah has no fusion restaurants that include teriyaki and Mexican food. We’re in love! Wife loves Mexican, I love Teriyaki. And boy we weren’t disappointed. The Teriyaki was perfectly cooked, glazed and the rice was fresh even before closing. Wow.
The service was soo soo friendly. I csnt say enough. Thank you again for accommodating us. Much love from travelers.
Fantastic. Only issue was too much food! Large helping. Delicious.
It is a Mexican restaurant that serves both Mexican food and Japanese food And if you order right you can also get Italian food!
On the menu it lists noodles… I thought they would be Japanese noodles because I got it with the teriyaki chicken… But to my surprise it is straight up spaghetti noodles. Absolutely amazing if you wanna good laugh… And if you want spaghetti noodles.
