Amazing Thai food! Everything is made fresh to order, and you can really taste the difference — it doesn’t feel like fast food at all, but truly traditional Thai cuisine. The flavors are rich and well balanced. I highly recommend the Pad See Ew, it was absolutely delicious. On top of that, the owners are incredibly kind and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending this place to others!

Best curry around! Prices are reasonable and the food is amazing!! The flavors sing and even their phad Thai is exceptional!
We ordered pick up, dining in is basic, similar to a teriyaki place.

Was in the mood for Thai and decided to try this neighborhood spot because of the reviews. This place did not disappoint!! The lady at the counter (assuming the owner) was very friendly. It being Super Bowl tomorrow we discussed the big game. We were very excited about watching the Seahawks tomorrow. Go hawks!!
I took a gamble and got the crab omelette (real crab and was stuffed with crab meat). It was excellent. Very umami with a hint of crab.
The chicken larb was on point. The vegetables tasted very fresh and the chicken was high quality with the perfect blend of heat, sour, and sweet.
And the Curry Panang was awesome! Got it with beef. The freshness of the ingredients is what blew me away.
Many restaurants around here have been going downhill. I understand it’s hard to keep quality up with the cost of rent and food. It’s amazing that this place is still able to do it. Glad I found something so delicious, so close, fairly priced, with an owner who seems to take pride in her food. One bite and you will be able to tell how good it is!

The food we excellent. We had the pad prik king and the broccoli beef,
Both were wonderful. We ordered to go, but than decide we would dine in, when they noticed they brought us plates and forks right away without us asking. Very kind and very good food. We will be back.

Thai 5 Thai Food Express in Mill Creek

One evening, I was settling for a quick dinner and tried this place, as it was near where I was at that time.

I really wasn’t expecting much for a hole-in-a-wall, Thai restaurant. But boy, oh boy… was I in for an unexpected experience.

I found myself in almost a trance-like state, in every single spoonful of panang curry I put in my mouth. I quickly realized, that it was not any other ordinary curry, but it was like curry that I tasted in Bangkok.

As I spoke to the chef, I learned that, the curry I was consuming, was cooked by none other than – THE Head and Executive Chef of SIAM Intercontinental Hotel – before they came in the USA.

As I probed a little deeper, I was right. The chef won FIRST place, in the BEST curry of… not Thailand, but the whole GLOBE, at one point. Yes, you read that right. The best curry in the whole world-at one point in time. It’s like traveling in time and place, it’s Bangkok all over again – in every bite.

I wish I could put into words, the authenticity of the taste. All I can say is, it was one of THE BEST tasting panang curry, I’ve ever tasted in my life! It was Thailand all over again.

I don’t get paid to do this, but I think, this deserve my humble review. I gladly did this on my own volition. If you try it, maybe you’d like it too.

I suggest you try it for yourself, before word go out, and the line of people starts coming here.

I went to Bangkok Thailand years ago. I never tasted a panang curry THAT good before. I never thought that the best panang curry would be in Mill Creek!

Part 2 ( a week after)

Today was another Authentic Thai food experience. I just found out that this restaurant does catering. And so they prepared a mouth-watering multiple course dinner dishes.

• 3 day-marinated,BBQ Chicken. (Gai-yang)
• Banana leaf-wrapped Thai chicken
• Beef Larb-Gai Salad
• Authentic Thai Salad
• Chicken Tom yum soup
• Thai spices special sauces
• Sweet Sticky Rice

These sauces, I only tasted in the heart of Bangkok. I just couldn’t compare it anywhere else. Sweet, salt, sour and special spices, all in one tasting!

• 3 day-marinated,BBQ Chicken. (Gai-yang) This dish is so hard to find here in Washington. Because it takes days to capture a genuine Thai cuisine, in this dish. 5 stars

• Banana leaf-wrapped Thai chicken
This reminds me of what I used to eat every single week in the Philippines. I don’t mind eating it every week.

• Beef Larb-Gai Salad
THIS is THE best tasting dish in it’s kind, It’s a perfect balance of sweet, sour, spice, salt – that I’ve only tasted in Bangkok.

• Authentic Thai Salad- It feels healthy when I consumed it. Filling but doesn’t slow me down. Taste is as genuine as it gets.

• Thai spices special sauces – You probably won’t find it anywhere else in Washington.

I still can’t believe it’s all here in Mill Creek.

These guys are the absolute best! I highly recommend garlic chicken with vegetables over rice. I have spent time in Thailand and this became my favorite food and these guys absolutely nail it 100%. They go above and beyond. I have left my credit card there and the owner actually got in her car and tried to bring it to my house. Unfortunately, I was not home. when they’re able, they will actually deliver to my house. I live close, but nonetheless, they have gone above and beyond for me more times than I can remember. When I got home, I thought I was missing an order of spring rolls today. I called her and she thought I only ordered one. I told her that was OK but her husband who makes the most amazing food is on his way here right now to deliver them. If I could give them 10 stars I would. I can’t remember her name but her and her husband are both very very kind people. She always has a big beautiful smile and is happy to see you. I give them my highest recommendation. I am adding to the Previous review. After they delivered me another order of spring rolls they came Back and brought my wallet which I left on their front counter. If it’s not enough that their food is amazing… These are the kindest and most giving people I love them!

A hidden gem located in a small retail complex, Esplande, in Mill Creek. There aren’t many Thai restaurants in this area but Thai 5 is arguably the best. The quality/taste of the signature Thai soups, Tom Yum soup can reveal the quality/taste & skill of the main chef. The soup was savory, refreshing, slight bias towards sour than spicy and a bit salty. Very good starter to wet the appetite. Phad See Ewe w/beef was decent but not award winning. Pad Prik King w/chicken was also full flavored with a good balance of red curry spice & lime leaves. I would’ve preferred skinny green beans rather than the beefy kind they used but the flavor was excellent. Spicy Basil w/tofu also had a wonderful ensemble of basil, Thai chilli & spices. To round out the carbs, House fried rice w/prawns was hearty and flavorful. Pandemic era meant takeout only; took ~20 min; owner (I think?) was friendly and assured me there were no peanuts (special request/nut allergy). Initially, the portions looked a bit small but the food was rich and filling, had leftovers. Conclusion: not cheap nor overpriced; very savory but perhaps a little on the salty side; friendly fast service (convenient online order); consistent good quality/well prepared authentic Thai food; recommended; support your neighborhood restaurants

⭐️Excellent⭐️

We were driving home and my kiddos shouted “we want Chick5” (I believe that’s what it used to be called, excuse me if I am wrong – I am only going off of what my kiddos said), I just realized that it was no longer there. But, I noticed it’s now Thai 5, so I said let’s try it☺️.

Very happy we did!

Wonderful sized portions, presentation was beautiful, everything was fresh tasting, my husband looooved the fried rice, the Phad Thai was very great tasting, the Pineapple Curry was delicious and everything else we order was great!!!

Their customer service was wonderful, the food was ready quickly; for pick up. We are impressed! Definitely worth trying this place out, if you were wondering☺️.

(Sorry for my not so great photos, we already dug into our yummy food)
