While working in the area, the Hillbilly and a co-worker hit the Asian Bistro for an all you can eat buffet. For the most part, it was pretty good.
I did find a few items that were supposed to be hot that were not hot. But the selection was nice. The restaurant and buffet line were very clean. And the staff was very nice and friendly.
If I’m in Carthage again, I’d consider Asian Bistro a good lunch stop.

It was a nice environment, we had the buffet and the food was just all very mediocre though. Cold, but Im not expecting anything crazy considering its a buffet. Any reviews saying it was a 5 star maybe ordered off the menu instead? Just had no flavoring.

We’ve been going for years but the last year the buffet is declining more each time we go. They no longer have a salad area just lettuce and dressing there is no toppings for a salad, No spring rolls just egg rolls, the last few times we’ve gone the food quality has also declined the food seemed “old” like it had been sitting on the buffet for a long time.

The food wasn’t great. There was mostly no flavor to anything. We forgot to check the bag and they left out one of our orders. Do yourself a favor and go to China Taste instead.

Very clean. The buffet was well-tended, and the bathrooms are very clean. Service is very friendly and efficient. They do offer a senior discount. The tea was a little strong and tasted like it might have sat for a little bit but adequate.
Prices are reasonable.
No Mongolian grill.
Nice selection of vegetables. Egg rolls had a little thicker wrapper than I prefer. I prefer the spring roll type of wrapper. My one concern is that the temperature of the food did not taste warm enough. Another patron also observed this when I brought it up to the wait staff. Staff did say they were looking into it.

convenient choice for a quick lunch or dinner. The food was warm and there was a decent variety, though a few items could use a bit more seasoning and freshness. Overall, it’s not the best buffet around, but it’s a nokay option when you want something fast and easy.
