An absolutely delicious lunch with just as amazing dessert!
The steak was cooked to perfection and full of flavored with no need for any sauce and complimented well with the fries! They also took the time to make some cocktail sauce to go with my fries!
Then the desserts: beignets with custard (sweet, warm, and fluffy); Molton chocolate lava cake (rich, thick, and warm); bread pudding (warm, fluffy, and syrupy); and the chocolate bourbon Crème brûlée (thick, crunchy and creamy)!
The staff as well was very welcoming and kind (from the waitresses to the the kitchen staff). Whether for a drink, a quick bite or just a moment of respite, I greatly recommend checking into this place!

Been here for a few of their VIP “Saturday Night Lights” events. Food and wait staff spectacular. The Buffet and offerings are massive. Wine, soft drinks and coffee include with VIP package. Nice atmosphere to watch Grand Prix jumping.

This was an okay meal, but not as good as we were expecting. We probably should’ve have ordered from the normal menus instead of doing the pre fixe and seasonal cocktails. In all fairness, the butternut & Brie bisque was AMAZING. I could have eaten a gallon of it. The other courses and cocktail were pretty underwhelming. The mushroom risotto and shrimp hush puppies were not good and we didn’t want to finish those courses – we may have just gotten a bad batch of those or something. The kale and roasted mushrooms on the side of the risotto were delicious. The short rib was dry, but the sauce and sides were very good.
The service was great, no complaints there.
The atmosphere was fine, very much a bar vibe which was just not what I was expecting. It was a cold night and it would have been nice not to be seated right by the front door/hostess stand when there were other tables available. I think having some of the fire pits outside on or more lighting outside would have made the whole area more inviting. Not sure if the folks at Legends have control of that though.
Overall we were pretty disappointed as a place to eat for a special occasion (NYE), but we might be back to try their normal menu. We’ve heard good things about it.

Legends Grille in Tryon, NC is a gem! Spotlessly clean, it’s like they hired a ninja janitor who never sleeps. The food? Legendary—each bite is a flavor party that your taste buds RSVP to immediately. The vibe is so cool, you half expect a cowboy hat to tip you as you walk in. Service is as friendly and attentive as your grandma when she’s making sure you’ve had enough dessert. If you want a place where great food meets great fun, Legends Grille is your go-to. Warning: you might leave with a food coma and a smile!

Tried the 4 for $44 special in January and everything was fantastic—so flavorful and such a great experience overall. We seriously haven’t stopped talking about that meal. The chef even came out to our table to see what we thought, which was really cool and made it feel personal. We were happy to see they’re doing the special again this month and are already planning another visit to try the new menu. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Our new go to favorite. Today we had an early dinner at Legends. It could not have been any better. Hats off to the bartender for perfect drinks, Apple Martini and Jack and Ginger, big thank you to the chef for awesome crab cakes and pork shank. And the cute little waitress was perfect.

Came in on a Wednesday evening, party of 6. Sat right away and were served waters right away. Ordered apps, beer, wine and bourbon, all great. Entrees were well prepared and delicious. Steaks were cooked to order correctly.
