At Angela’s Café, every dish tells a story — one made with love, tradition, and a passion for bringing people together. What started as a small neighborhood spot has grown into a place where friends gather, families celebrate, and good food always takes center stage. From our fresh-baked pastries to hearty breakfasts, comforting lunches, and specialty coffees, everything is crafted with care and served with a smile. We believe in real ingredients, honest flavors, and creating moments that feel like home.

I cannot say enough good things about Angela’s Cafe! We went there to celebrate our anniversary, and the service was beyond heartwarming. The aesthetic of the cafe was really nice. When they found out it was our special day, they surprised us with a complementary red velvet pastry!
The food was absolutely incredible. You have to try the French toast with Nutella and pistachio, it was amazing. We also ordered a skillet, which was savory, filling, and cooked to perfection. This is easily our new favorite spot in East Lansing. Amazing food and even better people!

This is a cute cafe with a pretty diverse menu. It is pretty clean and well decorated. The produce used in the sandwiches was very vibrant, flavorful, and fresh. The veggie sandwich was great, though a little light on the plum chutney. I asked for extra to go, but they didn’t have any containers so I wasn’t given any. The service was okay, I was a little confused on the concept. The staff took our order at the table, but did not come back to refill the water or check on our meal, and you pay up at the register. I think they should either have full table service, or you should order and pay at the front for less confusion. Overall, the food was really good, and I would come back to try some of their other menu items.

Very cute space, very kind staff, and suuuuch tasty food. Very fresh ingredients. I am also gluten free and they have gluten free bread and baguettes which had great flavor and texture and weren’t mini sized which was quite exciting lol. Grateful to have stumbled across this place!

My first time ever at Angela’s Cafe and we went in during the afternoon to do some homework and get some food. I got an iced chai latte and the breakfast croissant and both were very good! They were very friendly and made sure our food and drinks were good. The atmosphere is very cute and cozy as well. I would definitely come back again!

East Lansing gets a gem. I had the good luck to have stumbled upon Angela’s today, and I’m glad I did. I like a good breakfast place, although their other food looks good too. Not the breakfast skillet was just what I needed. A good portion, excellent flavor, and great atmosphere to boot. If you’re looking for a good breakfast at a family run restaurant, check it out.

This is my favorite place for breakfast and lunch in East Lansing! All the food is homemade and delicious. The service is always so kind, and I also love that it is family owned. Their pesto mayo is the best, and their coffee is fantastic!

I’d give a zero stars If I could. For starters, The place was empty when I got there to pick up my food so it’s not like they were busy yet they had a snotty attitude and acted like I was inconveniencing them by ordering food from their business. They were very ungrateful to have my business even though they had no customers in there at all.
I ordered baklava, it was $6.99, and I received one tiny little piece of baklava. My eggs had a huge broken eggshell in them. The potatoes were so dark they looked like they were either overcooked or cooked in really old oil. I rarely ever give a bad review unless I feel like it’s necessary and in this case it’s necessary. Maybe they don’t like being in business ,maybe they’re forced labor, I don’t know, but that’s how they acted.

Stopped in for lunch with my wife on a weekday. The food was reasonably priced, the bread was excellent, and we really enjoyed the lentil soup. Would recommend for a light lunch or brunch outing.

Fantastic menu and service! I have gone three times now: once in July 2024, August 2024, and now January 2025. Food and service has been consistent every time.
I have tried:
– french toast with pistachios and nutella: super rich and delicious.
– breakfast bacon sandwich: I don’t like tomato but with the goat cheese it needs the moisture. Still tasty though and bacon cooked to perfection.
– spinach byrek: simple and amazing. Will get this again and again.
– honey ham sanwich: perfectly balanced and delicious
– lentil soup: not as thick as I’d like but good flavor and I like the veggies in it
– lemon chicken rice: good lemon flavor
Give them a try if you haven’t already! They are a family-owned and run business and the menu and prices are great.
