Absolutely amazing experience at Ginza Sushi & Cajun Seafood! The food was delicious, everything was seasoned perfectly and tasted so fresh. The portions were generous, and you definitely get plenty of food for your money.
The service was just as impressive. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made us feel so welcomed. They even gave us balloons shaped like flowers. My daughter absolutely loved it, such a sweet and thoughtful touch that made our visit extra special.
We will definitely be back! Highly recommend!

The gals and I had a late night out, we were so excited to see Ginza was open late because we love sushi. We got the all you can eat option for $34.95 per person which is a steal!! Our waitress was amazing, so attentive and polite. The presentation of all the food was exceptional. The seafood was so fresh it melted in your mouth. I was surprised to see they had a Maya Roll, of course I had to get it. We ordered quite a lot of food and finished it all, it was that good. I’m going to tell everyone about this place and I am definitely coming back soon! Thank you for a great time!

My husband and I ordered a takeout crawfish boil from here with potatoes and corn with the medium spicy lemon pepper sauce. It was the best crawfish I have ever had! It was cooked perfectly and the lemon pepper sauce was amazing. It was also very affordable for the amount of food. I will definitely be ordering from here again immediately!

This is the best sushi place in town hands down. Everything is super fresh and done to perfection. My favorites are the Chicken Satsu bento box (family size feeds 3 people) and all of their rolls! See the photos attached. 5 stars in every way 🙂

I travel for work and im on the road two thirds of the year all over the east coast (primarily) and this is the best sushi ive had so far. Its so good it inspired this review which is rare for me but I felt compelled! The mango tuna wrap came out with one of the most stunning presentations ive ever seen and tasted better than it looked. The spicy tuna rolls are rich and not too spicy. The miso is the perfect amount of salty and rich and well as the Edamame was perfect! My girlfriend got the California dynamite roll and a chicken hibachi and the hibachi was far eclipsed by the sushi which actually complemented the sushi wonderfully!

My friends are regulars here and brought me for the first time.

Very understated exterior facade but as a sushi and sashimi lover who’s tried it in several different countries, the rolls here are top tier. While eating there was a nonstop flow of persons coming in to collect take out orders. That says it all!

Many places have a greater rice to fish ratio than it should. Here, as you see from my spicy tuna roll photo there is way more fish and filling than rice- it’s how it should be. Everything served quickly, the order was correct and all our food was great.
I loved my sashimi ‘bouquet’. Portions were just right.

Next time I’m in town I will be back!

The food was absolutely delicious. We had a California roll, spicy yellowtail roll and salmon cucumber roll. All were really good. The atmosphere is a little drab but typical of a building in the area.

This is my first time in Poughkeepsie and it turns out nothing is open on Sunday. This place is a ghost town! There is literally no where to go except this Japanese restaurant on the Main Street. Well, it was completely empty when we walked in, so we were worried, but it is AMAZING. How is the food so good?

The sushi rolls were the freshest I’ve had since being in Vancouver, and each dish we had felt better than the last. The wait staff are friendly, and everything was reasonably priced.

If I ever come back to Poughkeepsie, I’m coming here because I think the sushi is better than that in NYC.

I usually order take-out but decided to dine in with a friend, since there was so much street parking right in front. They are always helpful over the phone and even more in person. I love a restaurant with good food and good customer service. They have a lot of delivery orders and still stay on top of dine in customers, filling water and checking in every so often. I will be back for sure. The bento boxes are great and so are the boils with the house seasoning.

Ginza is our favorite sushi spot. Me and my son get all we can eat and the family who owns and runs the restaurant treat us like family. Its expensive because everything is high quality and made from scratch. You can pay more and go fancier to other places but they will not be better. Seriously my favorite spot in Newburgh Kingston and Poughkeepsie is Ginza.
