Shah’s Halal was established in 2005 with one food cart in Richmond Hill Queens on 121st and Liberty Avenue, and we’ve been tantalizing taste buds ever since. In 2016, we developed our first Long Island branch with the goal in mind of becoming, “the best Halal Food Restaurant in Long Island NY;” and we’ve definitely grown a lot since then! We know our customers are just as passionate about great food as we are. Shah’s Halal is fortunate to have locations surrounded by communities that are all rich in history, and filled with passionate people from all walks of life. Ordered takeout from Shah’s Halal and it was okay, but nothing memorable. The food traveled fine and portions were solid, but they missed adding the lettuce to my bowl, which was a bummer and threw off the balance. Flavors were decent overall, just not something I’m craving or rushing back for. Worth trying once, but not a must-have for me.

We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a platter. The guys on the counter are new and they spoiled our dinner, the chicken of the sandwich is undercooked and raw. Outside crisp is red but inside its raw.

Love Shah’s Halal. This is my second time getting from this location. They do not fill the containers (small quantity), forgot the bbq sauce and gave very little white sauce when asked for normal amount. I will never order from here again. The Walpole and Boston locations are 1000x better. Order delivery from them if you can.

Ive only ordered through doordash a couple times but the food is always on point and incredible. Its the kind of food that makes you want to come back for more. I don’t know how anyone could complain. Most other places don’t make falafel correctly but this is exactly how I had it has a child made by Israelis themselves. Love it

I haven’t visited this location in person but I plan to soon. I have ordered over 20 times for myself and others. They have a great discount on UberEats that’s been going on for the longest! The portions are great and everything I have tried from here been excellent. I am rating it a 4 instead of a 5 because it’s almost always consistent but not always. The last order I placed wasn’t up to par to the orders that were consistent in terms of taste and texture. They got the best white sauce I ever tried from a restaurant so far. I literally used to love this place but the last two times I’ve ordered it’s been terrible. I asked for extra white sauce last time and pretty much got rice soup. I let it go because I thought okay, maybe that one’s on me. This time I got a gyro and asked for two lines of hot sauce and normal white sauce. I got my food and it’s DROWNING in hot sauce and I taste no white sauce. I love spicy food but this is disgusting. I can’t eat it. I have been a loyal customer but this is the final straw for me. This is absolutely disgusting, which means, I’m never ordering from here again. And that’s sad because I loved their food before
