Our family ate here for dinner. I’m not a fan of spicy food & knew better than to get curry, but I wanted to try something different. The owners were so kind to do what they could to minimize the spice after I couldn’t handle the heat-even with the heat, I enjoyed it. We also had Lumpia-so good, we didn’t order enough! Our littles had General Tso’s Chicken with Fried Rice & Lo Mein- they both loved it (Mom & Dad had to steal a few bites). The husband had Spicy Bone Broth Roman- he’s a huge Asian Cuisine fan & said the flavors were just amazing in everything- even the curry he’s not typical a fan of. Highly Recommend! 🙂

This is my New FAVORITE place to eat. The appetizer sampler plater is wonderful! Everything fried golden brown (which is a big plus for me). The pork dumpling is my favorite but they are all delicious! I ordered the Chicken Ramon which was excellent! My friend ordered the Orange Chicken- was good also! I had a coffee latte Boba tea and she had strawberry. Both Boba teas were good. This is such a treat to have so close. My absolute favorite from Jeff, Rolla to St. Louis. Must try!

Had a great meal. Chef even came out for extra explanations when we had lots of questions before ordering. Meals came out fast… even with 7 adults! We ordered a variety, including, gyoza, the Bento Box, Red Curry, General Tso’s, and fried shrimp… delicious. Even tried a few desserts and a Thai tea. A very nice restaurant– Owensville should take notice!

Mabuhay Asian Café is an absolute gem in Owensville. The specials are always amazing — fresh, flavorful, and a fun surprise every time I visit. Mandy, the head chef and owner, brings an authentic Filipino flair along with a great variety of other Asian dishes that are consistently delicious. The family that owns it is very kind and welcoming, which makes every visit feel personal. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Owensville, in Gasconade County, and honestly in the surrounding area as well. A must-try!

We visited this place a few weeks ago and had a great meal. We ordered the Lumpia, Shrimp Curry, Beef Bulgogi, and Ube Cake.
The shrimp curry sauce has a strong taste to it. We ordered the yellow curry (mild spicy). Beef bulgogi was nicely cooked and was well balanced. For the Ube Cake and Lumpia (we forgot to take photos), those were also good, although we thought the Lumpia should’ve been more than 3 pieces for the price.
The two owners were super friendly and were kind enough to spare some time to chat with us. We recommend this place and we’ll definitely visit again (this is about a 1 and a half hour drive from St. Louis).

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here. Ordered the bulgogi on a previous recommendation and it was delicious. Had a side of kimchi with it which was also pretty tasty.
