This new location of El Carriel is a fantastic addition to the area! Just like their first location, which has been serving delicious food and excellent service for over 15 years, this new spot lives up to the high standards. The menu is diverse and the food is always fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and attentive, making sure every visit is a pleasant experience. Highly recommend checking out this new spot for a great meal!

My husband and I love going in the morning when everything is fresh at the bakery. From sweet pastries to tender meat (chicharron), they got it. Exchanging in English and beginner Spanish builds connection with the ladies who work there. A must try when on White Horse Road!

The food is good but the menu is basically the same all. Some of the waitresses are mean specially the old ones, mainly they don’t speak english. I thought Colombian food was better than Mexican but Mexican is still the best.

I’m really big on customer service and in “my opinion ” they are just not very welcoming. At first I thought it was just me but as I sat back and just looked around I was like oh that’s the interaction with all the customers. And it can totally be a cultural thing so if it is please forgive me. I’m a true southern lady so southern hospitality just runs in my bones lol.

Their version of a fried rice was okay. I’ve had a better one at my friend’s house. Sadly, we didn’t eat pork and it had sausage in it. When we asked the lady that was serving it if we could get it without she was very upset for the request. We just decided to take it and order another plate and overall it was mediocre.
