I was hesitating coming here, but I was craving some Latin food. I used to frequent a Peruvian restaurant in Norwalk, and nothing of the same quality and price point comes to mind in Danbury. So, I took a chance and am so happy that I did… the server working spoke a little English, so that helped. I ordered the bistec encebollado, and it was fantastic! And they give you complimentary chips and salsa to start. It was a nice, quiet late lunch around 2 p.m. and for a $17 meal, it was worth it.
On my second visit, I tried the caldo de gallina (chicken soup) omg, it was soo good, I came back the next day to get it again. I had a cold and it was perfect comfort food!
And on another visit, I tried the caldo de pata. OMG. It was a fantastic dish! I’m hooked.

The tamales and pupusas are delicious! We also especially enjoyed the lomito saltado – a flavorful stir fry of onions, peppers, and beef, served with french fries and rice. We also ordered the chicken with vegetable soup – vegetables in a chicken broth served with half a roasted chicken. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the tamales, and will enjoy one each for lunch tomorrow. We sat in a booth, which was helpful, as we were with our baby. It was a delight to show him food we only thought we could find in travel abroad! Muchas gracias!

Don’t be fooled by the lack of ambiance in the dining room (plus the dinner crowd tends to show up on the later side) the food here is TOP NOTCH! Not only are all of the dishes interesting and well executed but the price is ridiculously low. If you’re looking for a high end restaurant “experience” this isn’t it. If you’re looking for a high end restaurant MENU this place delivers.

Love this place. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food is amazing, with plenty of options for good authentic Guatemalan and Mexican food.servers are always kind and considerate when servicing. They even have food options for kids. One downfall is if you don’t like loud music. The bar can get really loud.

Good authentic food, great atmosphere, wonderful staff. Was there today with some new and old friends and we had a blast. The owners brought out home baked mango cake, on the house, and we all shared a few stories over a couple pisco sours. When in Columbus, you need to check them out. They will definitely take care of you.
