My friend and I came here after trying to go to Emerald Isle and it wasn’t open. SO HERE WE ARRREEE …nice and simple layout with alot of space..music was a lil loud (but i am a lil bit old!!:)our beautiful freckled Queen (MERCEDES YASSSS) was very personable, pleasant, and knowledgeable. Clearly she was fluent in customer service . CUSTOMER SERVICE MERCEDES: SEXY. This seems like a little upscale spot for 25 or 30 & up crowd,has potential, hope they keep up grading as they grow.

This review is for the new Victory Lounge on Lakeland Ave.The only good thing at this establishment is the music. Terrible service. I had to call out to the bartender who was dancing behind the bar. I tried to order two chicken fillets but they we’re out of buns. The food had had no seasoning. I will not be returning.

It’s a nice place with a nice vibe I can’t speak on what it’s like for the nightlife I just go during the day for happy hour. I do NOT in any form of way trust this city to attend to anything/ anywhere as far as the nightlife I just wanna be as safe as possible.

My business standard for a bar is that bartenders should acknowledge every person that walks through the door. Look up and acknowledge people I want people to get the welcomed spirit. You want people to spend there money in your business snd you want them to come back. I noticed that the bartenders take food orders and drink orders. Seems to me they acknowledge there regulars. But not so much for the new comers. I waited patiently close enough to the bar to order with the first bartender nothing I walked to the other end and five to ten minutes is long enough for a beer and never was I acknowledged. So I walked away. I was hanging out in the hallway and was able to meet the bartender carrying a food item out to a car. She brought me back a couple of warm Heineken’s. Im just saying. I had been in the bar 45 minutes. It was the DJ, that had the bar spirit playing good music and acknowledging people.

Food was average, service was poor-the bartender was focused only on the men she was talking to, we could hear the cooks in the back were fussing at each other, it took an hour to get our food, and the atmosphere was not a bistro.

Definitely a parlor for the 35+ crowd in my opinion. Victory Bistro needs to improve on their constructive energy and vibe. The Hennessy wings me and my associates ordered were very unsavory and I guess the fries were cool. I honestly don’t think I’ll be returning to this lounge. Just not my type of quality
