Heard a lot of good things, and decided to swing by. Tried their Hawaiian chicken sandwich and their jalapeño poppers. Both were phenomenal. Definitely going to try and make it back for wing night on Wednesdays. They also have an all you can eat chicken buffet on Mondays, and fish on Fridays.

Forgot to take pictures of the food BUT the Hawaiian Chicken Sandwich was fabulous, onion rings and fried green beans were crispy and hot and great, bowl of chicken soup had good broth with chunks of real chicken and good noodles (definitely not Campbell’s or Progresso). Only $20. Great Coke A Cola themed. Locals hanging out. We meet the owners – the Bubba it’s named after. Had a great friendly chat with them and their friends who were out cook and server.

Such a nice lil place to go, a very old hometown cafe type of feel. Great prices. The staff is super nice and helpful. Lots of options for food, something for pretty much everyone (not sure about vegans). Food always tastes great. I stop here every time I come through Strang.

Neatest little place in the middle of nowhere but the food was great! We had the all you can eat fish on Friday night. And the decor is definitely cute and unique! All Coke items! Like a Coke museum with great food!

We always enjoys Bubba’s – a small town restaurant with friendly people and good food. Every time we go for supper, we are well fed. We also usually buy a couple kolaches after supper to take home for dessert! Their pizzas – a new addition to the menu in March/April 2025 – are delicious. They don’t have them available every night so be sure to call to confirm or check their Facebook page.

This is such a hidden treasure! It is so nice to have Bubba’s in our area…you can count on them for good food and a pleasant atmosphere just about any time of day.
Side note: Opal makes some of THE BEST kolaches in Southeastern Nebraska!

We were disappointed! It was a quaint little place. The salad bar was great but the prime rib had no seasoning or taste. I had the flat iron steak asked for it to be cooked medium. The steak had no taste, it was cooked well done and very dry. The bill was $53. and for the quality was pretty pricy. There kolaches were $1.50 ea. which would make them $18. a dozen Not what we expected, maybe their burgers would have been a better choice.

DON’T GO TO THIS PLACE!! It sucks the food was cold (especially the prime rib). The cheeseballs, mini tacos, and the texas toast were store bought. 3/4 of my chef salad was tomatoes, cheese, onions, and olives. First of all who puts onions and olives on a chef salad and isn’t a chef salad supposed to be with ham. Well mine was with chicken. I do not recommend!

We just stopped at Bubba’s after traveling back from Texas with a 42 ft class A RV. It’s conveniently located 2 blocks off the highway. Very clean and decorated tastefully with a mainly Coca-Cola theme. The food was good, wide menu choices and reasonably priced. The service was great and the owners were very nice. Highly recommend – we will definitely stop there again if we are ever passing through!
