Such a hidden gem in Marrero!
Café Hope Coffee Shop is one of those places that instantly makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. The staff is always friendly and genuine, and you can tell they truly care about what they do. The drinks are creative and delicious (I’m obsessed with their seasonal lattes!), and the food is always fresh and full of flavor. What makes it even better is knowing this place supports young people learning real skills in hospitality — you can feel the heart and purpose behind every cup. Definitely my new favorite local spot for coffee, breakfast, and good vibes!

THE SCONES. THE SCONES. GET THE SCONES. Bonnie makes them from scratch in the morning and legit this is the best scone I have ever had. I also got a turkey sandwich which was lovely with fresh avocado and roasted peppers.
This hidden gem is in the bottom of a medical building but is open to the public. I highly recommend stopping in for lunch or a baked good if you’re nearby.

They’ve moved up Barataria. GO EAT THERE! They have a great drink menu and the chicken salad is ON POINT! The employees were super friendly and the atmosphere was very clean and inviting. 10/10 would definitely stop here for a quick, healthy and delicious lunch again!!
